- kaiserollofdoom, on 10/11/2007, -8/+161You know this would be great for a .... Picture section.
- frieddonuts, on 10/11/2007, -2/+117That's no moon...it's a telco symbol!

- commiecat, on 10/11/2007, -5/+49http://www.eff.org/legal/cases/att/
That's the image on the iPhone. AT&T was accused of data mining and wire tapping and AT&T is the provider for this hot new phone. Get it now? - nightstrm, on 10/11/2007, -4/+38Wow, that's really sticking it to the man. A background that only you will ever see... =/
- krazytom, on 10/11/2007, -2/+32I like how the guy owns the iPhone and is showing this pic. If he actually believed it why would he have bought an iPhone?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+27classic american consumerism, bitch about what the company does, but keep on giving the same company your cash.
- uncleLeo, on 10/11/2007, -8/+22or the apple section...i fail to see how this is "Industry News"
- Sparkster185, on 10/11/2007, -9/+22So that's what an iPretentious guy looks like...
- astrotrain, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14Luke: "Look at the size of that thing!"
Han: "Don't get cocky kid, Apple hired a actor with big hands to make it look smaller then it is..." - DariusMonsef, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14If you want to know the story behind the DeathStar logo... http://www.eff.org/legal/cases/att/
- bajesus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10I agree with you in theory. Except we all just saw his background.
- zweben, on 10/11/2007, -5/+14terrible comment... buried for being stupid
- Kazbaeden, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11I know. After being told "If you don't want to see iPhone stories, turn off the apple category" I think I have a right to say "If you want to contiue your iPhone circle jerk, keep it in the apple section. For the love of God"
- zweben, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10WiFi internet + Music + Video device, possibly.
- Crosshare, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7It would nice if could post a picture that was AT LEAST IN FOCUS!
- uncleLeo, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6yeah i agree, i block apple so i don't have to look at these stupid stories
- ICSU, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Not just accused, bit it was also proven.
- break99, on 10/11/2007, -3/+73G is already phasing out: Sprint launch his 4G (wimax) network in 2008. the iphone is already 2G behind. Enjoy your dial-up speed!
Hey, at least, you are cool.... - Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4However, you have to be careful that your wrist dosen't cover up the iPhone's heat vent.
- munkyxtc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Even if you had the ability to turn off that section for a your feeds this one still would have gotten through since it's not classified correctly.
- GigaPeon, on 10/11/2007, -7/+10If he hates AT&T so much, why did he buy an iPhone?
- xixor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3ha, well played.
- himay, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2This was funny the first time someone noticed...in 1982. This was a sight gag from a Bloom County comic strip. Doesn't anyone remember this? Bill, Opus, etc., all on the wheelchair, racing towards the Death Star / AT&T logo and screaming?
To this unoriginal digg, I say: Ack. Thppt. - adb44, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I dunno. Maybe a logo that indicates how Apple cut a 50% profit on the sale of the phone would be good too.
- tomesnyder, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5He doesn't hate AT&T. He just wanted attention. He got it.
- Skeuomorph, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Meanwhile, if McLaren had released the SLR 722 to run on flex fuel, put out an owner's manual to allow you to drive it on any road, and charged a reasonable price for it, I might buy one.
(You can use this SIM in other phones, and it's even very easy to swap the SIM. Unfortunately, your own carrier did not agree to redo its back end systems to support this device's simplified usability, while AT&T did.
Apple did release an SDK to allow anyone to write apps for it. It's called the world wide web or "www" for short.
Comparable hardware costs as much or more, such as the Nokia N95 (before adding 8GB) for $800. Other recently released phones, such as Blackberry Curve, are also "missing" 3G, or WiFi, or other "critical" features, while costing the same once memory is added. This can be used as month-to-month, not requiring a 2 year lock in. The RAZR was priced as high several years ago when the dollar was worth more and the phone did far less. Looking at market comps, and the "sold out" status, this was a reasonable price. ) - RussellDovey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Begin? What do you mean, they've... wait, I'm Bothan. Move along, nothing to see here...
(no way am I bringing anyone any information. I don't know nuffink.) - Pyrogen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Fail. You forgot the TM and R symbols.
- DarkNemesis618, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Probably because he likes the idea of the device and is willing to deal with any shady business on AT&T's part...I like the iPhone as well, but i'll probably wait til the 2nd gen...maybe then they'd get 3G support.
- bill.clark, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I wonder if we can see the Death Star's ***** if we check out the EXIF thumbnails?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Good point, already to tag and terminate.
All you cell phone junkies are writing your own prison terms for inappropriate think speak.
Don't worry it all tastes like chicken... - Shawn4168, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2So that the Apple fanboys have a convenient place to just digg everything, without having to look all over the place for it.
- ldog, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1If Apple had released a phone that allowed me to put my own carrier's SIM card in it, put out an SDK to allow anyone to write apps for it, and charged a reasonable price for the hardware, I might have been tempted to buy one.
- TKDEE, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Knowing the guy, it was probably a combination of the fact that he likes apple and that he thought putting that logo on there would be funny.
- FlamingWombat, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3If anyone manages to 'shop together the AT&T death star and the apple logo, that would be epic. I might have a go at it if nobody else does
- ScottMaximus1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Spherical?
- Arbus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1and I thought the GUYS on digg were desperate!
- bearvsshawn, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I believe this was digitally manipulated using Adobe Photoshop software.
=) - Skeuomorph, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1// That said, both Mercedes and AT&T are fascist collaborators. See, the analogy holds! :-)
- TerekKincaid, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1iDouche
- spinesplitter, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1some of us use RSS instead of comming here directly, for those of us there isnt a turn off the apple category option
- EntangledPhysx, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Pardon my french, but god DAMN!
- campo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2wow, scaling two circles to the same size, that's totally sweet
- flyingmeteor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0This is.. The biggest waste of 30 seconds. Buried as lame.
- lostdiggacct, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Crack kills.
- Shawn4168, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Lol...took me a second to catch the joke.
- johnnyrocket, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Awww, only one iPhone front page story. What's a matter fanboys? iPhone getting old and tired already?!
