- Fleagleman, on 02/24/2009, -3/+40You lost me at "AOL"
- serif69, on 02/24/2009, -2/+30And the US said collectively, "WTF is Bebo?" while the rest of the world looked at them and shook its head in disbelief.
- BrettFromTibet, on 02/24/2009, -0/+14AOL is at least making an effort to get with the times.. they are doing lifestreaming and all kinds of social networking improvement
- juggaleaux, on 02/24/2009, -3/+16Oh goddamn! AOL is still in business!?
- fallout49, on 02/23/2009, -1/+12I'd like to try these new features, but I wish I could just import my profile from another social network.
- inactive, on 02/24/2009, -2/+10AOL is still sending me their CDs....
- SawanM, on 02/24/2009, -3/+10AOL UPDGRADES Bebo?
- sbraidley, on 02/24/2009, -0/+6Bebo is popular over here in the UK and around Europe but most people prefer Facebook over both Myspace and Bebo, still don't get why AOL brought a website that's not even popular in the states.
- geoffreyireland, on 02/24/2009, -0/+5Bebo is the number 2 most clicked on website here in Ireland behind the mighty Google. Its scary how big Bebo was say 2 years ago before Facebook really took off. Bebo is going to complete crap now with spam and dodgy webcam invites. Kind of like what happened MySpace 3 years ago.
- puppetj, on 02/24/2009, -3/+7Never heard of it
- doc99, on 02/24/2009, -3/+7Bebo is very popular in UK, and I suppose rest of Europe, but since AOL took over, it's changed and not for the better either :-(
- Totz83, on 02/24/2009, -0/+4Kids in Ireland.. Seriously, it's the number 1 social networking site here!
http://www.alexa.com/site/ds/top_sites?cc=IE&t ... - sadisticmind, on 02/24/2009, -0/+3i was just thinking about those the other day. i haven't gotten any in years. i wonder if they ever think about me too....
- sadisticmind, on 02/24/2009, -0/+3....you need to say more then just Bebo...cuz that was not enough
- FreshPineSent, on 02/24/2009, -5/+8What the ***** is bebo?
- serif69, on 02/24/2009, -0/+3Considering that AOL isn't very popular in the states anymore, it kinda suits them.
- UNEXPLODEDduck, on 02/24/2009, -2/+4I live in england and don't know anyone who uses bebo... everyone is on facebook
- ericdano, on 02/24/2009, -5/+7Updgrades? What? Buried.
- REV0R, on 02/24/2009, -2/+4I thought the same meteor that killed dial up also did in AOL. I always knew it was vaguely cockroach like...
- dodgyd55, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1pretty popular here in the UK
- cianw, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1what's the feature? Giving it a new owner?
- inigomntoya, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1Yeah. Really bums me out that I'm not on AOL anymore... :(
Does anyone have any extra Frisbees, I mean CD's? - Clbull, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1I don't think AOL have done bad with the service, but I left bebo for facebook about 2 years ago because I was simply getting bored of Bebo.
Many of the people I knew used to use bebo but are gradually coming to Facebook. I definitely think FB is one of the biggest social networking sites now. - wipeout140, on 02/24/2009, -4/+5Facebook for chavs
- Yez70, on 02/24/2009, -1/+2Last I heard, it was popular in Europe.
- theOster, on 02/24/2009, -2/+3LOL@AOL
- Natru3al, on 02/24/2009, -1/+2AOL is the internet for grandmas.
- NinjaBull, on 02/27/2009, -0/+1Funny that I get dugg down for the truth..
- satterfield, on 02/24/2009, -2/+3It was funny to see AOL make the front page. I have really written them off. I put them in the same category as Iomega Zip drives or Word Perfect. Wow is it 1994 around here.
- mythzach, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1Come on... don't digg him down. Some of us grew up on Punters, Anti-Punters, Faders, Scrollers, the list goes on... Remember those days?
- pipedreaming, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1Can I hack this with my AOL proggiez?
- dna3e8, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1And now i am getting random IM's from people I don't know but links back to bebo!!!
- ementalo, on 02/24/2009, -0/+1Like facebook but full of more chavs, I tried it once, but the influx of "text speak" was too much and I gouged my eyes out
- flintmecha, on 02/24/2009, -1/+1I wasn't aware AOL was still around.
- NinjaBull, on 02/24/2009, -1/+1I read it as upgrades twice..
- MazdaEric, on 02/24/2009, -1/+1AOL? What's that?
- neptune5233, on 03/02/2009, -0/+0Recently had my 1st encounter with bebo... tried to edit aol profile & I keep getting aol msg that I am signed on somewhere else.... I'm not,.. that I'm aware of at least?..? This only happened on the acct that had a profile.
- Josh8178, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1I'm sorry but am I not the only one who finds AOL just absolute junk? Who uses their browser and or services? Apart from people who know nothing about the internet, of course. This is probably just another load of crapware that integrates with an ageing social network that's already been outbeanen by Facebook
- coldeh, on 02/24/2009, -0/+0The only thing AOL was good for was those free 30 hour internet trials, about 10 years ago when I got banned from the internet for looking at porn.
Install trial > 30 Hours free Porn > Format > Repeat - bwhite, on 02/24/2009, -3/+2UPDGRADES me!
- zakuropan, on 02/24/2009, -0/+0Who cares? Bebo will always be gay.
- gnotDigger, on 02/24/2009, -2/+1I REFUSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT DOESN'T GIVE AWAY CD'S WITH FREE TRIAL SUBSCRIPTIONS!
- doc99, on 02/24/2009, -3/+2That's another thing, they bloody took over Goowy.com as well, so they ruined my E-Mail And Social Network, what next!?
P.S I'm safe to say this on digg, cus AOL fanboys don't exist lol - jer2eydevil88, on 02/24/2009, -6/+4Why bother? Generic social networks that don't focus on niche markets are a dime a dozen but they don't stand a chance of taking on Facebook and Myspace anymore.
- STKD, on 02/24/2009, -6/+4Do I need this updgrade?
- NinjaBull, on 02/24/2009, -3/+1Facebook is getting more popular
- Johnathan1707, on 02/24/2009, -4/+1Well you clearly haven't lived =]
