AOL adopting XMPP aka Jabber?

logs.jabber.org — AOL seems to be making its ICQ and AIM services compatible with XMPP: xmpp.oscar.aol.com PS: still buggy and is only claimed to work in Exodus. It does not yet work in clients like Coccinella, Psi or Tkabber.
