- joetheintro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5If I only had the time to build links in 2007. Maybe I will in 2008. Thanks for sharing article.
- johnsee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Number 1 way to build links... get something to the front page of Digg.
Serious. - TimOgg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4How ironic that this link doesnt appear to work , lol
- Skitzzo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5yeah, we got it, thanks.
- DeadlyBrad42, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4If content is king, and links put that king on the throne, what's it mean if your site doesn't even display?
- spliffy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i am fond of mediatemple myself, it takes a while longer to knock out one of their grid servers. it's just a bit more expensive then godaddy's or gatorhost's basic packages.
- bigdoug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2LinkBait rules
- BHopkins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's HostGator's way of saying, "We only like small sites, find a real host, we don't plan on putting your site back online."
- BHopkins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It means all of you were about to crash my server and HostGator panicked!
- AAMJH, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Awesome post! You have some great ideas for building more links. Thanks for the resource!
- Skitzzo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5The value of specific links have been changing over time, however, the basic principle is still the same... get more links! Great article.
- Zeneha, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2a lot of great advice I'm going to take my time and go through every single item on this list and see how it can help. Thanks!
- InstantABS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Great article and links just come handy to express the idea.:)

Like alway, I dugg it! no pun intended. But really, it was quite informative. I intend to apply it to some of the link building campaigns I've implemented.
Thanks,

Miami, FL - BHopkins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Any recommendations? I signed up with HostGator yesterday for this post alone...
- BHopkins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey, I'm willing to change to a good host...I signed up with this account 2 days ago, and only put this site on it...what shared host can handle the Digg effect?
- macajemianuts, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You've built a great list of helpful ideas for building links. That it can double as a way to break writers block is a bonus.

NY, NY, USA - cds0528, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I like 1and1 alot, it's really cheap- nice for personal blogs (wouldn't really recommend it for a business-type situation though). If you pick that one email me please for my invitation code ;) (not gonna spam it on here)
- Milstead1979, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nicely done.

Reading this could either be a really cool link, or another "Please read my blog....Please" ling.
- mannoo2009, on 04/10/2009, -1/+1Nice articles learn us how to build links as fast and effective as possible.
I used it for my web hosting reviews website at: http://www.webhostingreviewz.com
thanks very much - alekdigg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Here's a great web site that deserves more linkage - http://digg.com/
- mattlamb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Watch out Google is watching and just building links will get you no where unless they are relevant to your website.
I have very few links yet place 3rd for my search words (votive candles) on most search engines.
So focus on quality not quantity is still king in my book. - jmeeter, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I'm content with DreamHost.

lol, were you trying to make your point with that? - arnstein, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Not a word about Microsoft's product activation scheme. Won't this interfere with the initial installation of Windows XP under any of these virtualizers?
- kjm16, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3thanks for the link
- adambenayoun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0As usual, Digg took down the site :(
- wh0re, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Good article.
- dikiz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0got the same message
- killboy123, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1good compilation of links. heh
- Th0Rr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2submit a linkbait story to digg about building links, then let your site get hammered and go offline. yeah same basic principle... to sucking that is. oooooh snap
- billraydrums, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Aplus.net has great hosting. I don't work for them....just host alot of sites there!
- noisymime, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1#67: Actually putting content on your page.
Surely a message saying "Sorry, we got flooded. We'll be back soon" is infinitely better than a blank page? - mp3tricord, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3http://duggmirror.com
- masteryan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0yea godaddy is better and cheap
- bmatherlyjr, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2The problem is that you have to page rank each you place first before asking to have them link back; and pretty soon you'll have to help them link out to keep their ranking in tact so that your ranking isn't affected by one or two... thousand dead links (which will occur over time). So in a sense you'll be responsible for your own marketing but the marketing for those who agreed to me link to you. It's a vicious SEO rat race.
What is Digg?
