5min Releases A New Video Player

techcrunch.com — Instructional video site 5min has released a new beta version of their SmartPlayer, introducing support for text, video, and images that can be merged into a single embeddable flash widget.

Definitely the most top of the line player I've seen so far..I'm really impressed but also shocked that no one else (including youtube, with all their resources and power) hasn't improved their player to be anything close to this standard. Wake up youtube! And well-played 5min!
