- capellathestar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Funny this should make the front page just as the National Novel Writing Month started. NaNoWriMo rocks!

- Viliam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How many ads can you put on a web page with concise text? And how many ads can you put on a multi-page article with 50 points? Also, how many concise texts make it to Digg front page?
- blehh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My favorite section is “How to increase your word power.” That thing is really, really... good.
- AdamWeeden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No, it's just no one really uses q anyway. So 2 x (26-1) = 50.
- pdajunkee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I suggest using his link, he's compiled a list of all the links to webarchive. If you go directly to the link you provided none of the links to the other articles work.
- Benzoid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Does it help with Spelling?

- rusty0101, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ok, here's a go...
- buy a 50 pack of index cards
- title each card with the title of one of the 50 ways to improve your writing skills
- elaborate within the rest of the card.
- list exercises to practice on the back of the relevant card
- use 2 cards a day to review and practice.
- ???
- profit!

- hhOwArdrOarKk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I was hoping that this would be a way to help me use my hands again to write. I have been using Dragon Naturally Speaking for years now. Great program bought I thought bit was a bout some fling else.
- Damaso, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Awesome resource here, comparable to The Elements of Style...too bad its already starting to feel the digg effect.
- 9angles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good coverage of the writing process. Also offers concrete, practical exercises and advice.
- joevill, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Now, how about 50 Tools that can increase your driving skills? Seems like a lot of bad drivers out these days!
- ephemeral, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Here's a way to improve your writing skills...
Make your content readable. Don't post it in 50 links. A text file or PDF would have been much more useful. - splintax, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Technology > Industry news?
- AdamWeeden, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This is important because girls want guys with skills. Computer hacking skills. Num-chuck [sic] skills. Bo-staff skills. Writing skills.
- RobDeBob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Heheh, 1337 diggs.
- welshbaloney, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Looks like Rule #5 onwards is no longer online...
- Xtant, on 10/12/2007, -4/+250? WTF.
In my book rule #1 is "be concise".
Can anyone sum all this up into a couple of bullet points for me? - talledega500, on 10/12/2007, -3/+150 tools == the alphabet X 2 (52) - 2 arrogant personality traits
50 - Damaso, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0That sort of defeats the purpose...doesnt it?
