- baxtermaddux, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1yes it was. i had never even visited techreadwrite, but it was referenced a lot in it's own article. so i googled the phrase, and low and behold it was the same damn site i was just on. haha
- ownage, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0How about adding Second Life to that list of trends.
- bnitro, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1Isn't it kind of weird that Digg isn't mentioned once but the site that the article is on is mentioned a few times?
- boyter, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1I particullary like the following part,
"2006 was also the year that Web 2.0 got overhyped and the term is now generally accepted as just a marketing term, akin to Dot Com."
Interesting because I find that the whole Web 2.0 thing is overblown. However on the other hand there does seem to be substance behind it. Unlike the dot com bust companies are not pouring money into things and are actually being smart. The thing is though since every 2.0 thing I have seen is based on advertisments you have to wonder how far large 2.0 sites like digg and so on can carry on. - ownage, on 10/12/2007, -13/+3Norbu dugg down for trying to steal the spotlight of the above digg article
- Traedortious, on 10/12/2007, -10/+0don't forget the mention of Web 3.0, wtf?
