- naevity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Step 17, post on digg 16 ways to get people to your blog
- jesusphreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The best way to get traffic to your blog is by having quality content. That's it.
- Antibubbles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Damn it naevity... I was just about to make the joke.
- himthatwas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Would it be wrong to post a new digg referring to this one and doing what naevity said?
- himthatwas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually #18 should be to use actual links when referring to web pages that your readers should go to.
And #19 is put really crappy pictures on your page.
Don't forget #20 link your crappy pictures to SPAM, SPam, spam. - subtle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This redefines lame. "Sometimes" not only thought that this gem was worth sharing with us, but also decided to post it on his own blog. And take a look at that blog: it consists entirely of stories from Digg. What is the point of replicating Digg in miniature? Why not just post one, single, giant link to Digg and have done with it? Oh right, that would mean that there was no reason for your blog to exist.
- Chango_Family, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Naevity's comment was better tahn the article!
- nymphetamine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0pretty usefull stuff, considering that i just started a blog. +digg
- torunforever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The 16 Ways article is syndicated (as is everything in the blog), which says a lot about how little this particular blogger cares about creating quality content.
- vanlandw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0jesusphreak is 120% correct....you could close out comments after that one...case closed.
- mousky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"192 days old, with the exact same title. you obviously ignored it when it came up with possible dupes"
Nah, people never ever ignore dupes on digg. Never ever happens ;) - echimu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Most of his tips can be found here too Promoting Your Blog @ http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=1060&topic=44
- siouxmoux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0or spamming digg with your blog
- Klowner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm waiting for someone to submit this -very- page for digging :) "Someone has posted 16 steps to increase your blog traffic from digg.com"
- ketsugi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the 16 steps are a bit too common-sensical. I was kinda hoping for something new. Oh well.
- meangene, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You know, as much as I'd love to read what this dude has to say, I simply do not want to drive up his adsense numbers! Drives me ape when people do this.
- Ninjamonk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I thought it was quite useful and never thought of posting my blog everywhere I could....... http://www.willtheyeverovertake.com :P
- nullvariable, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Don't digg spammers!
- himthatwas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow #20 look up RSS again.
- mousky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Everyone who thinks this is lame should make sure they select "ok this is lame" in the problem drop-down menu. Let's see if "user moderation" works.
- balazs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0old and dupe: http://digg.com/links/16_Ways_To_Drive_Traffic_to_your_Blog
192 days old, with the exact same title. you obviously ignored it when it came up with possible dupes - Ninjamonk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0it was interesting but I have this months Computer arts Magazine and it has a thing on self promotion and there are some similarities between the 2 lists. So it shows the advise is valid I suppose.
- cool4u2view, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0problem?
