- tomi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10www.tlbox.com is another great resource too.
- kingkilr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8For anyone on a mac, I highly recommend Coda, it just makes everything easier.
- themuffinman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Seconded. Textmate + Transmit + CSSEdit isn't a bad combo either. Though Coda manages to get all the important features, it does miss in some places. Coda is amazingly well put together, and it isn't missing anything I need, so it's what I use. Well worth the money.
- HaltingPoint, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Not quite sure what your point was (your grammar made it a bit difficult to decipher)...but I just want to say that any tools that can make today's advanced technologies easy and comprehensible for the average geek who does not know PHP, MySQL, ActionScript, AJAX, JAVA, etc. is a good thing.
Myself for example...I used to code pages in HTML and javascript in notepad back in the day, and could design a page that was quite professional looking (even got runner-up in a corporate web design competition). Unfortunately, since I'm not a hardcore programmer, all the ideas for websites that I have these days are pretty much impossible for me to program without intensive studying that simply isn't something I'll get around to with a full-time job and a girlfriend. The barrier for entry has gotten to the point where being a good web designer is a serious committment that takes serious programming skills. - restlessdesign, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3that was the most pitiful listing of flash/actionscript resources ever. buried as lame.
- str3ama, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1someone has to say ...it's getting ridiculous ..Mashable is just pumping out "top 100+ Resource" articles just to get on Digg. This is like the 10th one in the last 2 weeks.
- aazn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I only looked at the ones with pictures.
We must construct additional pylons. - HyperJack, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU WANT
- thoand, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You can allways use .htaccess to protect files.
- josh_, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Look through them all and tell me which ones are good.
- mrrob, on 11/12/2007, -0/+1nice list. well researched. dugg
- chrisbarr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Mootools made the list, that makes me happy.
- allyant, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's just a database viewer, you can't add new databases unlike PHPmyadmin.
- mrfrosti, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This is a good list of resources, however a bit overwhelming, as most just have a few words for the description.
- jasg, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1i am lazy, have u tried it ?
- jasg, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2I didn't try those build your own web app tools..They really scare me..why do people do this kinda stuff ??
soon there wont be any web app developers left all we have are hire for a day or two labor force : ( !! - Dested, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Wow, that CogHead app seems reaalllly cool. Its pretty much visual studio inside of a browser that you can export to a website, or even sell.
- maineman99, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Genuinely useful. Thanks.
- allyant, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2turbodbadmin looks much better than PHPmyadmin, I am trying it out the now, one thing it lacks is authentication...
- undetected, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2Dugg since I found something it mentioned that I'll be using.
- wilsonthecat, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0J2EE or ASP.NET resources?
Both missing from this list as it obviously aimed at the hobbyist/bedroom coder as the majority of large web apps out there are powered by these 2 technologies. Yes I know some large sites like facebook are LAMP etc. etc. - RyeBrye, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2This sucks. Just search del.icio.us for webdesign or something and you'd get a way more useful list than this.
This list is just a big link page. Reminds me of the web in the late 90's before search engines got big... pages like this had a purpose then. Now they are just lame. - pyroh, on 10/10/2007, -5/+24,999,334,234,234++ Web resources: http://www.google.com
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1DO NOT WANT

What is Digg?
