- neoknight, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23Where the heck are the 10 things, LAME!!!!
- readme, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17Give me a 10 point bullet list or die :) I don't have time to read a blog post.
- edzieba, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I am ashamed that I momentarily saw that R as an A.
Even more ashamed that I still clicked the link. - csb92376, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Marked as inaccurate ... the title should read: "My incoherent thoughts on a speech that some guy did which was titled '10 things you didn't know about RSS'"
- dasspunk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6How lame/lazy do you have to be to inadiquately summarize a list of ten things...
- buspbp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6BURY THIS TO SAVE OTHERS' TIME PLEASE !!!
HOW DID IT GET TO DIGG FRONT PAGE? - airstrike, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4how about an actual story? how is this news? where are the 10 things i didn't know? is this just a -summary- of a top 10?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"10 THINGS ABOUT RSS...
Ok, some guy talked about RSS and had 10 things you didn't know about RSS, but I'm just going to write a couple sentance fragments on 2 of them. Enjoy!"
What a lame digg. - franksands, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Buried this as inaccurate
- natnu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Exactly. Being generous there are 5 points listed here:
* At first only blogs & the BBC used RSS, now everyone does
* Consumer devices use RSS feeds a lot
* More text in posts means more exposure
* There are lots of aggregators out there
* MyYahoo is the biggest aggregator
So? MyYahoo! aggregates a lot of content... What are we supposed to take away from that?
So not only doesn't it list the 10 Things we didn't know, it also doesn't provide any useful commentary on the summary of points he did present. - amartins02, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Not trying to be negative but, you have to have some judgement when thinking about submitting this. First off, like everyone else said, where the hell is the 10 point list. Second....there is no second. That's it. Buried.
- InternetUser, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5...Or "How to impress chicks at parties"
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3buried as innacurate - surely '4 things someone said about RSS' would be a more accurate title?!
- amigiac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I guess people don't know this stuff. I just got a SE K800i phone which has an RSS reader built in, it's amazing where RSS is turning up these days, I guess the next place will be your television.
- mmmGuinness, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This is what the "undigg" button is for!
- MrsHarris, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"* At first only blogs & the BBC used RSS, now everyone does"
This is something which by knowing it has no value at all. - tHePeOPle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It got to the front page because ALL top ten lists get to the front page by default. It's says that somewhere in the heart of the mysterious DiGG front page algorithm.
- JackKnife, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Great title, content-free story.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Seems like the quality of digg articles has gone noticeably downhill here at digg in the last 2-3 weeks. An example is all stories criticizing apple are marked innacurate. The Apple bias on here is strangely rabid. Can I get them off my RSS feed?
Is there something up? - NJank, on 10/12/2007, -8/+5or: How to prove you're a digg reader by thinking you'll be impressing girls at the parties you're never invited to.
