How many social networking sites need there to be? If you have 5 friends, all of them, including you, are on MySpace, but you all are also on Facebook, Twitter, whatev, what really is the point? So you can send the same bulletin from 5 different sites to the same 5 people? It really doesn't make any sense. Moreover, most people who are the friends of those on social networking sites are already their friends in the real world, so what real benefit is there gained from all of it? It makes a nice, simple, centralized online presence. I use Imified to post to Jaike&Twitter at once but it also posts to many other sites, like wordpress sites, MT, tumblr etc. But there's just something about jaiku, it's simple like twitter but has more featuers. And as far as beautiful-ness, you just use whatever background you want. Mine is at http://laserone.jaiku.com/
