- scoreboard27, on 12/21/2007, -0/+10If you have a blog worth a damn these days, you won't have any problem finding a buyer. They'll find you.
- etandrib, on 12/21/2007, -1/+7Step 1: Write an article about how to monetize your blog.
Step 2: Post it to Digg.
Step 3: Watch the advertising dollars roll in. (Profit?) - jenny867, on 12/21/2007, -2/+8So, generally I hate these lists, this one was pretty good tho, with the exception of number 97: Sell Your Blog: If you've put a bunch of work into your blog and it has great stats, get a lump-sum payday from a buyer.
Tell us how to find a buyer and maybe that is worth something. - jd33, on 12/21/2007, -0/+5No Doubt. That's the funniest ***** I've read in a while. "You read my 3rd grade piece of ***** blog now Buy me some loot, Bitches"
- Elconno2, on 12/21/2007, -2/+6"Although it's not cash, asking readers to buy you items from your Amazon Wish List will save you from having to buy things yourself. Again, they'll feel more rewarded knowing they've given you something tangible."
Are you kidding me? - jacobsor, on 12/22/2007, -0/+3Definitions of "monetize" from the American Heritage Dictionary:
1. To establish as legal tender.
2. To coin (money).
3. To convert (government debt) from securities into currency that can be used to purchase goods and services.

Please explain how we can "monetize" blogs into currency? If you want to say, "Ways to Make Money from Blogs," just say so. No need to sound like Lindsay Naegle in the process. - kelp, on 12/21/2007, -0/+3true, you'd be surprised at how many people trade diggs/pay people to digg their site to the frontpage.
- digitalvik, on 12/22/2007, -0/+3Yup! Advertisers have come up with requests for advertising on my blog, even though I havent put up an Advertise here link. I think its time I put that up.
- SuperMoses, on 12/21/2007, -1/+4They lost me at CafePress
- redwallhp, on 12/22/2007, -0/+3"Sell your blog." Wouldn't that qualify as irritating your readers?
- Karmavs, on 12/22/2007, -0/+2If people are devoting all there time to blogging - they need to get money from it to continue to be able to do so. The best blogs come from people who devote most time and effort into their blogs.
Of course the top ten blogs make money. - inactive, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3notice the one reason that didn't appear.... CREATE ENGAGING CONTENT... ah, this world we live in... delicious
- SuperMoses, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3Seriously, do you think this comment is appropriate? Do you think by posting this comment in article that has nothing to do with politics will win over supports? Stop being a tool.
- TreatsTheBear, on 12/22/2007, -0/+2It was there under text ads.`
- ryanward, on 12/22/2007, -1/+3Overall a good list. I've bookmarked the article for further exploration later. Thank for taking the time to write it.
- FredFredrickson, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2There aren't any reasons here at all... we're talking about WAYS.
- random12345, on 11/16/2008, -1/+3How do you leave off Adsense? By far the least irritating and cleanest ads you can get. Buried
- inactive, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1it is ridiculous. And it isn't happening as you say.
- SethBoy, on 12/21/2007, -1/+2Oh, for a moment I thought I didn't need annoying web traffic to earn money.
- habenneas, on 12/22/2007, -0/+1lynxcache mirror: http://lynxcache.com/cache/101_Ways_to_Monetize_Yo ...
- kelp, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1you know, not all blogs are about people's lives...
- TreatsTheBear, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1Vibrant ads don't irritate your readers? Buried as inaccurate.
- rouslan, on 12/30/2007, -0/+1That seems grotesque to me.
- investmentguy, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1All blog but no bite.
- slicker76, on 12/22/2007, -1/+1When are we going to get around to monetizing digg comments?
- func, on 12/21/2007, -0/+0Firedoglake must have missed these tips. That new look of theirs will just about make your eyes bleed.
- rogerbly, on 12/21/2007, -1/+1I'd say these are brief and unique times... It's easy to make $5K-$20K on a blog if you choose a topic that has an targeted underlying buyer niche... say DSLR cameras, 4x4 Toyotas, etc. Many people are taking a year off to travel/blog knowing this can't last... It takes most people one year to build the blog/revenue to the point they and "quit working", so don't head to Hawaii until to get the cash flow ramping.
- Elconno2, on 12/21/2007, -2/+2I am liking Ron Paul less and less with every one of these annoying spam posts. Yes, I know the man's name. You no longer are serving a purpose...
- whizzwords, on 01/14/2008, -0/+0Great post. Love the lists with everything on one page. This is a great source for me to explore the options available in monetizing my blog - http://www.what-sells-online.com
- bbqribs, on 12/21/2007, -4/+4Remember when blogging was about sharing information? Now it's about "how to monetize your content." How sad. Some of the 'top 10' blogs are commercial in nature anyway. what a failure the blogosphere has become.
- inactive, on 12/22/2007, -2/+2If you write a blog, you are already irritating your readers.
- rizalembi, on 08/05/2008, -0/+0i love that soure..very improve me..thanks

http://international-shipping-rizal.blogspot.com - Ted1wins, on 12/21/2007, -1/+1I use Microsoft my my insurance business which is wireless and the battery life is something like 6 month for the keyboard and mouse (4 AA). they also have a rebate. so you come around $30-$60 depending on the features you may want.
- FredFredrickson, on 12/21/2007, -2/+16-7 figure sums for blogging? From what, payola?
- jo42, on 12/21/2007, -3/+2> 6-7 figure sums for blogging
Not dollars. Pesos or Lira maybe. - inactive, on 12/22/2007, -2/+1It is sad when someone thinks that they are writers for The Simpsons. You are not. Little in jokes that you are your virgin friends have regarding the Simpsons do not translate well to large masses of people. Not even large masses of other nerd virgins like on Digg.
- bbqribs, on 12/21/2007, -2/+0(Ack, didn't edit my own post in time) - or basically, here are 101 ways to clutter the internet with more ads and spam.
- ghostz00, on 12/22/2007, -2/+0A lot of these suggestions are still irritating to me.
- McBradd, on 12/21/2007, -5/+2Quit Spamming Ass. If you think Pissing people off is going to get your underdog candidate elected, then I'm sorry to have to be the one to tell you, but you've lost your mind.
sudo block user - Elconno2, on 12/21/2007, -3/+0Oops, I hit reply on your thread instead of his. I fail.
- KineticShampoo, on 12/21/2007, -4/+1So there aren't 102 reasons?
- rouslan, on 12/21/2007, -6/+2It's ridiculous that people could make so much money by writing about events each day at home, without lifting their ass off their chair or getting a formal education. If I had a blog, it would be non-profit and copyleft.
- TonyCafaro, on 12/21/2007, -8/+0I'm in the market for a new keyboard
