- artofwar420, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6I don't care I'll tell you a couple:
Overstock.com
Woot.com (you have to check daily or several times a day)
Warehouse123.com
Monoprice.com (for cables of pretty much all types)- cbreaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1"I don't care I'll tell you a couple:

Letting everyone know about a web site with TV Commercials on every station every day isn't very risky. Just FYI.

OH DAMMIT! - Justice101, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Once you know, you...Amazon? Yeah that's right, everyone go to Amazon quickly! Hehehehehe, all mine yes, all mine.
- CthulhuDawn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No, the more people find out, the more the company can afford to buy in mass quantities thus lowering the price.

- Matrixsta, on 10/10/2007, -12/+3no ebay?
- arcooke, on 10/10/2007, -0/+30eBay USED to be a good place for bargain hunters.. now it's just a huge mess of small businesses charging outrageous shipping fees.
- consoneo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Yeah, F' those guys! I see a good price, and I'm like "Wow, I love the Internet" and then I open the page and see "Shipping cost: $37.00"
I really wish Ebay would find a way to fix that...- 80hd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Set your search preferences to show shipping terms in the results. Takes a lot of time out of browsing......

- lschofield, on 10/10/2007, -5/+0http://www.centsible.net is a good up-and-coming bargain site. Not as many shops, but that lets them concentrate more on how to get a deal at the ones featured.
- dtraneighty8, on 10/07/2008, -0/+8don't want to come off as spamming, but I think digg users would like techbargains
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Yeah, that's a good one. I've bought a couple things that I found on techbargains.com. The only problem is they often have somewhat random crap thrown in there, or stuff that isn't a bargain at all (like $4 cheaper than normal or something). I find that most of the really good deals come from either newegg or Buy.com anyway, so I usually check those places if I want something.
- aryan29us, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I also agree with detro. Also I found one more site http://www.grab2buy.com. I had luck with that site too..

Just kidding - dasdef, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2im not going to submit my favorite canadian bargain hunting site, due to the ALREADY abundant amount of lurkers... but YEAH! Go bargain hunting!!
- andrew522, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16apparently the webmaster did bargain hunting for his webhost.
- EdgarVerona, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Apparently the servers running the page being linked to were assembled by bargain hunters. Did Diggmirror even have time to get it?
- EdgarVerona, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Bah, they say that there's always *someone* on the internet thinking the same thing as you. Andrew522 was thinking about 30 seconds faster than me though. ;) lol
- mateo60, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27Newegg ..... even when its not the cheapest, it's always worth it.
- uberlord, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I agree, Newegg is THE place to go for anything computer or electronics related. The prices are low, in my experience often the lowest, and the service is the best I know of. I put together my computer from parts almost solely purchased from Newegg, and at the time it was an amazing price for what it was, less than a $1,000 for my x800pro + 3800 X2 =) a little over 2 years ago
- andrew522, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1im on an Asus G1S from Newegg right now! i got it a couple months ago and put in 4gb ram.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Agreed. On the rare occasion newegg doesn't have the best price, I buy from them anyway because I know they're fast and reliable. I try to use newegg for as many things as I can.

- coasterfreak212, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It was, I bookmarked the link months ago. wonder why digg didn't block the repeated link. Thing is though was that i didn't bookmark the digg page, so there is no proof.
- SillyDigger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Most of those sites listed get their information from http://slickdeals.net , http://www.fatwallet.com and http://forums.anandtech.com/categories.aspx?catid=40&entercat=y
- keylime, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0The anandtech link was great, thanks.
- brwright, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5pricewatch.com for computer components
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0It is worth mentioning, yeah, but I remember it being disorganized, sometimes wrong, and linking to weird and/or unreliable places at times. Maybe it's gotten better in the last year or two, I don't know, but I usually don't need to look any farther than newegg anyway.
- cbreaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I've never found it to be disorganized or wrong. Sometimes the vendors will have special "pricewatch" prices so you have to follow the links on Pricewatch to get those deals.
Several years back the vendors started making the prices REALLY low (because the vendors are who put their price lists on Pricewatch) and charged a LOT for shipping. Since then, Pricewatch requires shipping prices to be listed and will not list an item without one.

- chromie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I've built a few computers with Pricewatch. They have a rating system which works pretty well, and I've never had a problem.

- nicksauce, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I like http://www.abebooks.com for us textbook buying college students.
- koven, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2For UK people (there might be a US version):
http://www.find-cd.co.uk/
http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/
http://www.find-book.co.uk/ - Jack9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3what these all are...advertising revenue driven websites. Pricegrabber and such are just offers from vendors that offer CPA (advertising campaigns) to the site owners. Marked inaccurate.
- jkramlich, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3http://www.dealmac.com - for cheap mac/computer deals
http://www.geeks.com - always good prices on random geeky stuff
http://www.gigoit.org - my website to find free stuff in your area- dimplemonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1dealmac = dealnews
great site. I've contributed to them and have saved a ton of cash through them. They're legit in my book.

- mantzdapantz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0these just look like the websites that come up when i misspell a url

- stuma9000, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Thanks. Just what I was looking for.
- basye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2FatWallet used to be higher but has gone downhill over the past year. If they fixed their search engine it would probably help.
- hockeystatman, on 10/10/2007, -3/+0I can't believe no one else has posted http://www.woot.com yet.
I'm a confirmed Woot-a-holic, and my second batch of 3 Bandoleer Of Carrots should arrive on Monday.- duuk2k2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I guess you didn't RTFA
#18 woot.com - hockeystatman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I would've been happy to if it wasn't down, and so far I haven't seen a mirror.

http://digg.com/tech_deals/The_Twenty_Most_Popular_Sites_for_Bargain_Hunters - Tek34, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0most of the top one's are not even in a league with slickdeals or fw. edealinfo was my favorite yrs ago until rebates became part of most of their deals and their forum was taken down.
- Grant29, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Deal aggregator for many deal sites: http://www.dealsites.net
- 80hd, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Spoofee.com is worth keeping an eye on in the US
- juventusc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0what about dealhacker.net
- itszjay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0i use http://www.cheapcheapcheap.org , i like the clean look of it..
- fuzzynyanko, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Bizrate's store ratings system always have stunk. Circuit City gets a "good". Can anyone comment on the site for a price compare engine?
However, I do agree that geeks.com has some pretty awesome deals. - jcrash, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Most of those sites are crap and there is NO WAY that many people go there without some serious ads linking to them in the first place via google or something. Fatwallet, techbargains, slickdeals, those are the sites that real shoppers go to. Those first ten or so are crap plain and simple.
- bjhath, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0nice spam story, gfy.
- AuntBee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0http://www.crazytowndeals.com
has the diversity i need for bargain gift hunting! - healthytext, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0BizRate? MySimon?
If by 'comparison shopping tool' you mean 'clogging up my Google search', then sure. - jkharris07, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Awesome list, I glance over at Woot.com one in a while
- xasx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2missing techbargains.com and edealinfo.com, also woot and smackdaddy
- H0psing, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0My favorite site of all is Dealnews which is on their list. The best price comparison site in my opinion is Nextag.com. I like it because it gives a price history on products that you look for (by easy to read graph). That way you know when to buy something if the price keeps on fluctuating up and down.
- lschofield, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I don't understand why people would digg down comments that include a link to a site not in the top 20 - if its relevant. Any coupon aggregators or price comparison sites - shoppers forums would be relevant. Isn't that the beauty of the internet, that you have a huge variety and not just a few megamarts? Of course, some are better than others (mostly because they're bigger and have more active forums or a full staff as opposed to one person) - but if a site doesn't scream spam I wouldn't treat it as such. I would categorize ebates as a bad guy, but they're big so you can't do much to them except not buy from them. Little guys trying to get on their feet though - don't digg 'em down if they're honestly trying to add something to the mix!
