- nymphetamine, on 10/12/2007, -11/+71Hey, it's called a birthmark. No need to make fun :(
Let the uranus jokes begin! - chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -0/+59Farnsworth: Go ahead, try it. You'll find that every heavenly body has its own particular scent. Here, I'll point it at Jupiter.
Fry: Smells like strawberries.
Farnsworth: Exactly! And now Saturn.
Fry: Pine needles. Oh, man, this is great! Hey, as long as you don't make me smell Uranus! (Laughs nerdily)
Leela: I don't get it.
Farnsworth: I'm sorry, Fry, but astronomers renamed Uranus in 2620 to end that stupid joke once and for all.
Fry: Oh. What's it called now?
Farnsworth: Urectum. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+55We need to end these jokes once and for all by renaming the planet to Urectum!
- tuxidomasx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+49just send a probe in there...check that ***** out.

- Vertabreaker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Dugg just because the title made me "lol" at work and got me some dirty looks.
- mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Breaking wind is more like it.
- wvdavis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16I don't believe anyone has actually read the article yet.

- soylent2oz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9It also has a dark ring and a pink center that seems to expand.

My new sentence of the day.... Hey Mom!... - bocanegra, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7One hundred ass jokes... not a single comment about the article... welcome to Digg.

- mattsidesinger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5http://dvorak.org/blog/
- stryker2you, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Well, since I've read all the comments and not a single one was about the article, let me be the first to say something about it...at the risk of being dugg down.
This is truly a remarkable discovery for the simple fact that it shows there is still plenty to learn about when it comes to just the planets in our solar system alone...
So what happens when we get around to building a telescope on Uranus? Would it be best to stick it in the dark spot?
Digg me up or down, I don't waste my time thinking about it. - palmdoc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Old joke:
Q: Why's Captain Kirk like Toilet paper?
A: They both circle Uranus looking for Klingons - cuoops, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Uranus is tipped on it's side.....yep, I actually read the article
- ohcoaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4How do they know Uranus is tilted 98 degrees and not 82 degrees?
- mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Only if I eat habenero peppers, but thanks for bringing it up.
- primary0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4zomg.. not even a single comment so far about the actual planet.. haha!
- milk93rd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+433 years old and I can't even check out the article because I'm so immature. I love it!

- dawgma, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Colon cancer.
- orangekid13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4the solar system musta run out of toilet paper...
or
that's what I get for lighting farts...
and
for the record that's not the kind of picture i was expecting in the article - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3A little astronomy will put this all in perspective. If we had a scale model of the solar system and the Sun were the size of a basketball, Uranus would be 3 miles away, and hard to wipe.
- SmokeN-DC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2My god its full of stars ..........
end transmission - jlunski, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dugg for obscure Andy Dick reference. :)
- shampoovta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2 I love you people. Nice to see your mined is in the same gutter as mine.
- mbthompson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's not good to stare at Uranus, spot or no spot, it's just not healthy.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They don't call it a "Brown Eye" for nothing!
- vagrantradio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Pure comedy gold!!!
