The Truth About UFOs and Aliens
hypnosiscontrol.com — Do aliens exist? Are we alone in the galaxy? How does life arise on other planets? Does our government hide secret information about extraterrestrials from us? Where the hell is my tinfoil hat?

- VeryBoredNow, on 12/21/2007, -0/+6I think UFO's are just space tourists taking 'cruises' to other planets. They should be smart enough to know not to mess with the human race cause there is a good probability one of them will get poped in the face or taken out by some kind of extremist.
They are just observing like when you or I go snorkling.- cococooky, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1When I go snorkeling, I take a spear-gun....
- Member148, on 12/21/2007, -0/+4If there is intelligent life out in the universe and they have been here for millions of years, before humans, then who is the true aliens in the universe. EARTHLINGS?
If they are interstellar tourist cruising around the planet, then this must be the cheapest source of fuel in the universe. Filler up Exxon. LOL. - Napoleone, on 12/21/2007, -0/+4Good read, though I do disagree with a few points. One being the matter of the ability to communicate with intelligent alien species. That really should not be a problem at all. Our ability to communicate with animals is limited only by their lower intelligence, but it is not non-existent. It's hard for us to decipher their languages only because they're unable, and naturally disinclined, to directly communicate their meaning to us; an intelligent alien species would not have that limitation.
On the matter of government motive for a cover-up, the answer lies within the third paragraph of the article. They stand to lose the ability to enforce social order. I personally believe that's not the only reason, nor the primary one. In my opinion, it's probably more a matter of securing profit by monopolizing through secrecy the ability to exploit alien technology. Also, there's the military angle, where one seeks advantage over other armies.
As far as the likelihood of us being visited by E.T.'s goes, I'm a witness to the fact that we have been. Since no one here knows what my credibility is worth they should not accept that as evidence. But it is enough evidence for me. I do not have the ability to identify alien spacecraft of any sort. But I do have the ability to identify man-made space craft. I'm familiar with most of the capabilities and limits of our technologies. And I'm aware of the fact that much progress is kept secret for various reasons. But I cannot conceive that we've yet created machines capable of moving, within our atmosphere, at speeds of up to 75,000mph, and making 90 degree turns without breaking a sweat.
If we had anything even approaching that kind of technology we would not have space shuttles being lost to loose foam.- rpi22, on 12/21/2007, -1/+3"But I cannot conceive that we've yet created machines capable of moving, within our atmosphere, at speeds of up to 75,000mph, and making 90 degree turns without breaking a sweat."
That's just what they want you to think!

- parabolee, on 12/21/2007, -0/+5Hmm, looks good. I have also witnessed a very large UFO that resembled the one from Close Encounters, yes the big one, and I was with seven friends. The thing flew over us while we were camping, quite slowly, we got a very good look and it was nothing like a terrestrial vehicle. Silent too. So while it is not "proof", it is a first hand experience that confirms a VERY likely truth.
But since you never mentioned the Disclosure Project, then it fails :-D
J/K dugg - scorpius6, on 12/21/2007, -0/+1nice, I plan to do a post on the ufo's later on, so do check it out, shall post it here when i do so!
- SeethisPass, on 12/21/2007, -0/+2There is probably intelligent life somewhere in the universe.
Maybe we can find some and elect it.
/ grin ! - vemmamjf, on 12/28/2007, -0/+1I was intrigued by the "explanation" of the origin of life...starting with cells. Whoops, what happens if you don't already have the cells, Gomer?
