"It looks like... well... a woman's... nevermind"
A closed mouth?"
Since when does a women close her mouth ?? - mikeneilson, on 10/11/2007, -0/+98More accurately, bullets are solar system-shaped.
Ya know, since the solar system came first and all, it's only fair to give it the appropriate props. - hockey, on 10/11/2007, -7/+72@FizixMan
"It looks like... well... a woman's... nevermind"
A closed mouth? - kungfumaniac, on 10/11/2007, -1/+65Undeniable proof gun ownership is a God given right. Thanks for clearing that up, science.
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -2/+58@babybitch
So.... are you saying that you're just a dick? - EBFoxbat, on 10/11/2007, -5/+54"It looks like... well... a woman's... nevermind"
Your women's? Dude do her a favor and take her to the doctor, her *****'s sideways. - idonthack, on 10/11/2007, -1/+33-----> solar system

you - babybitch, on 10/11/2007, -4/+31i think it looks like the head of a penis...but thats just me
- ARandomElement, on 10/11/2007, -1/+28funny how the comment above has received -3 diggs because the author is reminded of a vulva, but this comment has received (so far) +1 diggs because it reminds the author of a penis.
- 0crabby0, on 10/11/2007, -1/+24That's probably why space aliens never contact us.
They see our solar system as a bunch of pricks. :( - ChuckIT, on 10/11/2007, -6/+26looks like a mouth. . .but interesting article
- thcobbs, on 10/11/2007, -7/+26@FizixMan
Yeah... you're right... most people here wouldn't get that it was a woman's third toe.....
*shakes head* - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+19Travelling through the universe in a camel toe. God loves porn I suppose.
- moogle516, on 10/11/2007, -11/+25Looks more like a vagina then anything else.
- billizm, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14"Our solar system flies through space faster than a speeding bullet"
Forgetting about relativity. Relative to what? - 4fingers, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14Guns don't kill people solar systems do.
Quick hide this before Jack Thompson finds out as he will try sue the maker of this solar system and if he wins who will provide us with a Revelation? - McTendo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13@ MaximegalonInfo
Right over your head. - contradictator, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13Gotta catch em all?
- twertyto, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11camel toe?
- ChronicColonic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11The politically correct will want to rename it. Bullet-shaped is too negative because bullets can kill. We should say the solar system is Wizard-shaped.
- ISVDamocles, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11The galactic core our solar system orbits.
- HunterTV, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11First Brit drops her panies and now this. We're flashing the galaxy.
Forget "mostly harmless," we're "mostly slutty." - daborg, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10"gotta what?"
Gotta scientist! - NSMike, on 10/11/2007, -1/+11I saw this headline out of the corner of my eye and thought it said "Solar System is 'Bull *****'."
- hikaruzero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9<3 The sun's heliosphere is the gunstock oil of our solar system. Yay sun!
- typo180, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8That was my questions too. As far as I know, we don't have a fixed point from which to judge speed. Maybe relative to the Milky Way? That was the only reference point I could gleam from the article.
- 350Zed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Moose knuckle FTW!
- rcronk, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8I think I'm actually getting dumber as I read these comments. There should have been just one comment: "Hmm." and then everyone goes back to work. What a non-story.
- moogle516, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10eh ebfoxbat, in space there is no up or down, or sideways.
- dboy3587, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7gotta what?
- ISVDamocles, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I wanted to add this to my post, but I didn't make it in time. This page: http://sslmit.unibo.it/zat/images/cartography/M-Way_2.htm Has an awesome map of our "Black Sea."
- robzienert, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Perhaps we should call it the "Toelar System"?
- vizerei, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5"Your women's? Dude do her a favor and take her to the doctor, her *****'s sideways."
She's probably just Asian. I heard they go sideways. - 5xSTUN, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5This just in: the Solar System is, in fact, shaped like the Virgin Mary, and is currently for sale on eBay.
- ARandomElement, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4which world?
i live in my own little world, and it's shaped just like a perfect pair of titties. - sikosmurf, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4That doesn't really make sense..
Assuming there was a definitive and absolute center of the universe, something that wasn't moving relative to that center would still be speeding through space "relative to most other things" - caffiend, on 10/11/2007, -6/+10@hockey
A woman can close her mouth? - eezzzz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5So, are you proposing the theory that our solar system is being used to upskirt the galactic core?
- mercness, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7God is so awesome.
- domlachowicz, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Your idea of a donut-shaped universe intrigues me Homer; I may have to steal it
- kingfoot, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3wouldnt it be weird if it turns out we are essentially a bullet fired to kill something, and basically we are super small and stuff and nothing matters? maaaaan how many would kill themselves then? i would.. lol. maybe not.
- finista, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Looks like a dolphin.
All we live in a yellow... dolphin. - Amplix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@ 0crabby0,
Thats what I was thinking. Now I know what those aliens in the background at Ten Forward were laughing about in all those scenes... - abcdefghij, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2yeah they never contacted us BACK.. they did contact us right before they visited the Crab Nebula, after which there was no further communication with us.. they must have caught something..
- clark1001, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The earth is flat and is supported by the shell of a giant tortoise, which in turn is supported by a humongous yellow vag.
- thesimo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3looks like a camel toe to me
- Katana314, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I knew it...the universe was influenced by The Matrix as a teenager...
- spazmotron, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The Solar System is a pussy?
- UnstableMind, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Does anyone else think that maybe these charged particles and this magnetic field is the main reason SETI will probably never recieve any external transmissions and no one alien will get to watch Firefly? Don't get me wrong, I would love them to and I believe there is something else out there, but Magnetism and RF energy usually wreak havoc or have some relations to each other. Just a thought.
- thefaithful, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4So if you fire a bullet in the direction the solar system is moving wouldn't the bullet be moving faster than the solar system?
