- youtellme8, on 04/17/2008, -1/+16It seems that the more we discover of other planets, moons, galaxies etc. the more we find that the chances of alien life existing are high. I for one am extremely excited.
- DeskFlyer, on 04/17/2008, -0/+9Hopefully it won't support lolcats.

- Innisskillin, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3I wonder who will call dibs on it.
- ahughes, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3Now that they have found a natural gas source 300x what the US uses a year, let the Tiberium Wars begin.
- protogenxl, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3I think we should ask the Monolith.
- driya2000, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2Pictures look like rendered in Bryce.
- Bukowsky, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2no kidding! I wish this planet didn't support lolcats.
- ISellSigals, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2state the obvious
- nickert0n, on 04/17/2008, -0/+3Who said that life on other planets would be suited to the exact same temperature as us? If methane can flow at that temperatures, if liquid can eixist of any sort at that temperature, then it is possible that an organisim comprised mainly of that could exist. Aliens are not going to have two arms, two legs, 10 fingers, ten toes, be pale white, and have a huge head. They can and will be anything, with different adaptations atmosphere, unlimited possibilites, there are NO FACTS in space we are only at the stage of taking picutres of our own backyard and saying "Whats in it?"
- inactive, on 04/17/2008, -1/+3Cool.
- prosayik, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2"Titan has hundreds of times more liquid hydrocarbons than all the known oil and natural gas reserves on Earth, according to new data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft." - The Article
"America is a friend to the people of Titan. Our demands are directed only at the regime that enslaves them and threatens us. When these demands are met, the first and greatest benefit will come to Titan men, women and children." - GW Bush - daithiocoinnigh, on 04/17/2008, -0/+2dibs!
- thenonhacker, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1I didn't know Titan is made out of TerraGen.
- Acolyte357, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1Why do you need water?
- MrSlumberjack, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1The pic isn't real

- ISellSigals, on 05/13/2008, -0/+1well said!!
- MrSlumberjack, on 04/18/2008, -0/+1Finders keepers
- Chirp08, on 04/17/2008, -1/+2Evolution accounts for the harsh environment, the changes are a direct product of what is needed to continue to survive, it make take generations to realize this effect but if the lifespan of a specific living thing is very short these generations happen quickly relative to say, humans.
Your idea that creatures were just placed down on some perfect world is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. If that were the case then why wouldn't humans be able to breath under water if they have the ability to swim in it? Thats like making a waterproof car that is capable of maneuvering through water, but not making hte motor be able to run under water. If you are going to design/create something you would never do a half assed job like that. And on that not WTF do we need mosquitos for? What was that creation supposed to bring us? There are far too many stupid decisions to call anything about this world intelligent design, there are no coincidences, the things that are so well designed and integrated with each other are because that is what was required for each to survive, and evolution maintains this, end of story. - LukaszH, on 04/17/2008, -2/+3nice pics
- Eezyville, on 04/17/2008, -0/+1I claim the Kuiper Belt >:]
- Harleymagne, on 01/08/2009, -0/+0To mix with my whiskey, of course, why do you need water?
- Fartbandit, on 04/17/2008, -0/+0Im in your organically compound rich dense atmosphere moon!!
Seeding it for the conditions required for abiogenesis to occur!!
? - PurpleTentacle, on 04/17/2008, -0/+0I'd disagree. There's far more required for alien life then just water and carbon. You'd need temperatures that don't fluctuate too broadly and aren't too hot or too cold (temperatures reach -290 F on Titan). You'd need protection from comets and asteroids (which is what Saturn does for us). You need a steady day/night cycle. You need many, many more things. We are finding just a few of these things, and from what I've seen there are always "show stoppers" for these planets.
- Zaleucus, on 04/17/2008, -0/+0I think he's being sarcastic. Or he's just dumb and I'm not sure why you're wasting your time.
- azznine9682, on 04/18/2008, -0/+0people miss the point lead based paint i guess
- azznine9682, on 04/18/2008, -0/+0no sarcasm is allowed anymore?
- hcharger, on 04/17/2008, -2/+1 I just wonder when people will ever get it into their deceived heads that life did not evolve, it was created. Evolution on any lengthy term would be impossible to accomplish because of the harsh conditions and the duration of an individual lifespan, even in our mature state today as it is.
- PurpleTentacle, on 04/17/2008, -1/+0Before people get excited about any kind of advanced life, from the article: "Unlike Earth, Titan's lakes, rivers and rain are composed of methane and ethane, and temperatures reach a chilly minus 180 degrees Celsius (minus 290 degrees Fahrenheit". Don't be expecting much.
- RubineBoy, on 04/17/2008, -1/+0Maybe they shouldn't want to go to Mars then ...
- DalamarArgent, on 04/17/2008, -5/+1I wonder what spin the Bush administration can put on an invasion of Titan for the energy reserves.
- azznine9682, on 04/17/2008, -10/+0Don't you know that we weren't evolved. We just appeared out of nothing cause the bible says so. lol Man I love being full of *****. I should run for PRESIDENT! I would fit in. Oh wait no DUI. So presidency is out of the question for me.
