- TheVirus, on 01/05/2009, -2/+31Tripod + lots of separate images. You use software to 'stitch' them together and overlay each image to remove any lines. Normally, panoramic images are highly cropped because of angles and all that jazz, but this one is quite good.

Since they are in space and can avoid the light pollution (on the night side of earth) So they must have a spectacular view of the starts right? All the imagery and video I have seen from space missions seem to have missed this key view. I mean sure the Earth is magnificent but it would be nice to get the same kind of perspective from space. Maybe a shot through the space shuttles cockpit window looking at the stars in space. of course with as much light emitting junk off as possible...
