You could design any attachment you wanted to be put on the hook or on the boom itself. Put two little welding bots with it and you have a raising gang.
The mobile crane could be used as a crawler platform, excavator, transport, drilling, erection of structures, towing, and could even be armored and weaponized like a tank for them pesky alien attacks. - dinki, on 04/08/2009, -0/+2I'm working on building a flying saucer to visit Mars but that doesn't mean I'm ever going to be visiting Mars.
