- reflex768, on 04/16/2008, -2/+16Very cool. Looks like a rendered scene from an adventure game. Some blasted puzzle lock has to be just up the path.

- AphraBenn, on 04/16/2008, -0/+2For "bouche" (ironically means "mouth" in French) historic because:
Pic du Midi Observatory (altitude of 2860m/9,300 ft.), operated by the University of Toulouse and historically famous for its planetary, lunar and solar studies. Located in the southwest of France, Gilles observes that it is a mythical place in the history of astronomical observation with a reputation that has long extended beyond its borders. The first buildings were built in 1873 in order to create a weather station. Then gradually, the observation of the sun and stars became its priority.
I hope you do some research before you bury. - ojasnet, on 04/16/2008, -0/+1description: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap080125.html

- nospinhere, on 04/16/2008, -2/+2A photograph taken today of a historic monument is not in itself "historic" as described in the title.
- inactive, on 04/16/2008, -0/+0That's a pretty grainy hi-res. Wish it were taken with a decent camera...
- bouche, on 04/16/2008, -1/+1why the hell is this historic? lame title calls for a bury

- edzilla, on 04/16/2008, -1/+1The full name is "pic du midi de bigorre", not to be mistaken with the "pic du midi d'ossau".

- shortyjacobs, on 04/16/2008, -2/+1Normally I bury every single APOD "story" I see, without even clicking through, but I'm digging this one. Very cool.
