- Bactame, on 10/30/2009, -1/+7Interestingly the APOD locates these two objects, NGC7635 & M52, as being on the northern boundry of the constellation Cassiopea. They are on the southern boundry.

DIGG's comments sometimes prove his point! - ChrisInTheDark, on 10/30/2009, -1/+5Good catch, Bactame!
(Although, technically if Polaris is used to gauge 'north', shouldn't it be that these oblects are mostly northeast of Cas? Just a thought.) - moredown, on 10/30/2009, -1/+4Explanation: To the eye, this cosmic composition nicely balances the Bubble Nebula at the upper right with open star cluster M52. The pair would be lopsided on other scales, though. Embedded in a complex of interstellar dust and gas and blown by the winds from a single, massive O-type star, the Bubble Nebula (aka NGC 7635) is a mere 10 light-years wide.
- BigBambino, on 10/30/2009, -1/+3After looking at that picture, I can say with certainty that Earth is the only planet with intelligent life.
