- bigthree, on 07/16/2009, -1/+6you miss the stars when you live in NY - never gets dark enough to appreciate the night sky
- biddie67, on 07/16/2009, -1/+5It's also hard to imagine what the purpose could have been .....
- Bactame, on 07/16/2009, -1/+5It hasn't been shown that we are insignificant yet. To wit...we may be the only stargazers in the visible universe. Indeed, if the current accelerating model of the universe is true, then its less and less likely that other stargazers will be found.

- agulesin, on 07/16/2009, -2/+5When you see such a scene it's hard to imagine that the Universe has been created without purpose...
- Fleagleman, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4Somewhere, Eddie Murphy is dressed as a fat woman and is extremely happy.
- BelatedHero, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2I need a telescope. :(
- gvoakes, on 07/16/2009, -5/+6I am a gender neutral alien. What I lack in genitalia I make up for in knowing how to fly a spacecraft.
- UniversalGuy, on 07/19/2009, -0/+1Size means nothing. We might be small, but the human brain is by far the most complicated thing in the known universe, by far.
- TheLotusEater, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2What amazes me is how the galaxies differ in overall color. I wonder if that is indicative of the relative age of the galaxies, their composition, gas distribution or what...
I'm buying a telescope. - Sess, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2I've always felt lucky I'm born in an era where we have so many technological marvels. Today I feel very unlucky.
- Hercules, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2The "Me" cluster of galaxies? Cool!
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1FTA: "The colors in this remarkably deep composite image clearly show the star forming galaxies with a blue tint and galaxies with older stellar populations with a yellowish cast."
- mcgannon2007, on 07/16/2009, -2/+2The name really does it all for me.
- sHockz, on 07/16/2009, -3/+3We are not alone.
- AndrewMoyer, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1Somebody's overcompensating... oh wait.
- anillop, on 07/16/2009, -2/+2When I see this scene i think of how unlikely it is that it was all created by a single being. I suppose it is all a matter of perspective.
- robert99a, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1We should send a space probe to that cluster ASAP.
- Opiatus, on 07/16/2009, -2/+1Both sides of the coin leave the mind boggled.
- TheLotusEater, on 07/16/2009, -4/+2Yes yes... Someone always has to say that.
Just reminds me of how privileged (and awesome) we are. - DiggDog1729, on 07/16/2009, -2/+0I wonder what kind of a view would convince you and others like you of the possibility that a creator might not exist at all.
