- Lightspeed2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6agreed, but theres a stupid new trend involving deleting vowels to look cool, trend wont last long.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5This would be much more useful if you could interact with the page before it takes a screenshot.
For example, if I want to take a picture of this comment thread, but I want to hide all the comments I think are pointless and then take a screenshot, I can't do that with this tool.
Nice idea anyway though - ajcates, on 01/20/2009, -1/+5http://www.derailer.org/paparazzi/
that is a mac osx program used to take screen shots of a site, and the beta includes automator actions(witch make it a very powerful tool) - Lightspeed2, on 10/10/2007, -4/+8what a stupid domain name

- evanstapler, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I was expecting the description to say "Title says it all."
- rebopper, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3That has always been my argument against screenshot tools.
- jeremymccurdy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Spamming doesn't work either, ***** you.

- str3ama, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3horribly slow, but cool. The api isn't really an api but oh well it's pretty good but there are other sites offering the same thing but are faster ..ask.com has one, also openthumbs.
- Matt2k, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3oil.*****.us - The swarm based web 2.0 tagging social network aggregator that reminds you to change your oil filter every 3000 miles. Comes with an XML based API for remotely updating your log sheet from your iPhone. What the hell did I ever do before Web 2.0. Web 3.0 here we come!!
- DenRoedeBaron, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Buried for the ***** name.
- cubicle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Actually to do that you need a browser on the server side too, because the browser is the application that renders HTML code. So to make a screenshot, you need already rendered HTML page. You can try and write some kind of a browser in php using the GD library that will do the trick but it would not be nearly as good as the mainstream browsers (Firefox, Exploder, Opera...)... And it would be probably very slow... :|
- jull1234, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I was really hoping for some sort of infinite resursion to occur... oh well.

- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I'm pretty sure the Page Saver extension for Firefox ( http://pearlcrescent.com/products/pagesaver/ ) will do what you described.
- themajor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Red Snapper is a good Firefox extension as well. It only can do selections, but its slick and has worked well.
- tdous, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1"Website Thumbnails capture program uses INTERNET EXPLORER 7 with latest updates!" Er..
- brotherfranciz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1A program called "FastStone Capture" does something similar, also does printscreens and saves it for you.
- yugiohdan6, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This is useful when you are linking to another page and want to show the content of that page... or at least what it looks like...

"It ain't pretty, but neither are you." (comment I read in someone else's code ;-) - don613, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You could use it to get around a blocking Proxy server at work. If you REALLY want to see something that you're not supposed to.

- Kronos6948, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1The problem with that is that you can't take a screenshot (as far as I know, I could be wrong) of video with print screen...
