- mal1964, on 06/30/2008, -2/+48***** Ironing!
- techblogLAT, on 06/30/2008, -3/+40Glad to see them introduce Gmail's web-based chat. The iG chat widget is pretty clunky.
- theMADone, on 06/30/2008, -1/+33dugg for irony of your statement seeing as how this is a socially dependant site.
- ElBeh, on 06/30/2008, -0/+31iGoogle is extremely flexible. I'm sure you'll have the option to pick out different layouts and such.
- walkable, on 06/30/2008, -1/+32I see this being problematic... I love iGoogle, but if it begins to become more social, then administrators at companies are likely to start blocking it (like they do Facebook, MySpace, etc.). I don't know about you, but I can handle those sites being blocked, but not iGoogle.
- tschau, on 06/30/2008, -2/+32you didn't get hired, I take it.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -5/+35It's all going to be about OpenSocial down the road.
- mizatt, on 06/30/2008, -6/+35Dugg for unnecessary profanity

- celkin, on 07/01/2008, -0/+10Dugg for pointing out reason for digging
- DjArcadian, on 06/30/2008, -1/+11What makes you say that?
- jgasm, on 06/30/2008, -2/+11what is this "real life" you speak of?
tell me more. - humperdinck, on 06/30/2008, -1/+10LightSpeed4, why can't you be more like LightSpeed5?
- h4mx0r, on 06/30/2008, -2/+10Employees give free food? Since when did a job require you to give food to your employers?
- ElBeh, on 06/30/2008, -1/+8That looks... awesome...
- Metasquares, on 07/01/2008, -1/+7What about us antisocial people? Will no one think of us!?
- PainToad, on 06/30/2008, -1/+7Why do u have 2 logins? LightSpeed5 and LightSpeed4....

White man speak with forked tongue. - inactive, on 07/01/2008, -1/+7Well, when no one else will ever Digg your comment, you just create a new login to Digg yourself!
- elpollocholo, on 07/01/2008, -0/+6you are, it just so happens you are now clumped together with other people who also want to be anti-social
- Gojirra, on 06/30/2008, -2/+8http://www.google.com/intl/en/options/
- jmnz, on 06/30/2008, -1/+6@LightSpeed4 - You think that people want to work at Google just for the ping pong table? Don't be so naive
- arunforce, on 07/01/2008, -0/+5Hows it easier?
- Thorpe, on 06/30/2008, -1/+5That could be a problem. I like the idea of iGoogle so I can quickly access my e-mails, bookmarks, Digg stories and notes all on one page just by signing in.
- Niubai, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Brazilians invaded and set territory.
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -2/+6As an introvert, I'm quickly running out of websites where I can be alone without being pestered by social networking. Where's my peaceful and quiet internet?!
On a serious note, why does every site feel the need to start incorporating social aspects? - Nichiren, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3TBH, I've never actually browsed through Digg and always had iGoogle give me the top stories. Same with /. and reddit. If I did, then I'd never get anything done...
- diggzter, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3yes it is!
- jakerudy7, on 06/30/2008, -2/+5could be homepage worthy
- tschau, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3That'll be great. Right now I have a tab sitting on iGoogle most the day (watching Digg, e-mail, others), and sometimes I have to leave one up with gmail also, just for the chat.
- Nichiren, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3Yeah my company has just recently blocked digg, reddit, and even slashdot. So far, I've found that they only block domain names and not actual IP addresses so I can actually still access slashdot with its IP address (no pictures though but w/e). I'm not even going to go through the trouble when I could just remote connect to my computer at home so they'd only see one IP address that I'm constantly connected to. Not only that, but it's a dynamic IP. Maybe I could proxy too but I'm going to try VNC first.
I just re-read that and realized I need help with my addiction. - Dylson, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3No.
- kaplanfx, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3agreed, the gmail chat client has gotten surprisingly good of late, and has mostly overtaken aim for me. Particularly for us young 20 somethings who are all jumped on the gmail bandwagon. Turns out most of the people I know are on there.
- bjornski, on 06/30/2008, -2/+5Don't like it?
Don't use it. - proficient, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3You are my brother.
