- FirstDigg, on 01/05/2008, -8/+67Very cool search engine. Now I can very quickly find which torrent file & tracker has the most seeds when downloading the latest linux distro. =]
- evil-doer, on 01/05/2008, -0/+35needs a bit of work.. if you sort by date its like :
2 years ago. etc, etc - Easyoffbam, on 01/05/2008, -16/+49Frickin blogspam!
youtorrent.com - Dash-2, on 01/05/2008, -0/+22I insitaly thought this too, but then I considered the fact that they just links to REAL sites (MN, TPB) and you download the torrent from them, not youtorrent.
- plbland, on 01/05/2008, -0/+22People who want it in date order?
- dako, on 01/05/2008, -0/+21TorrentSpy? ***** TorrentSpy, I miss Demonoid :(
- inactive, on 01/05/2008, -3/+24Might be advisable to check who is behind YouTorrent before using it. Wouldn't want to trap yourself in a sting operation from the MPAA, wouldn't you?
- corevette, on 01/05/2008, -1/+19i think it's good enough to replace my scrapetorrent.com
- picpak, on 01/05/2008, -0/+15Does the logo have a reflection?
Does the title say "BETA"?
Is there a tag cloud?
DUGG! - etruscan, on 01/05/2008, -0/+14Crap inputted, crap outputted.
- ImYourRealDad, on 01/05/2008, -8/+21Nothing will fill the void TorrentSpy has left in my heart.
- Eisim, on 01/05/2008, -1/+11submitter is linking to the story and info about the site, i really can't see anything wrong with that. besides, torrentfreak is a great site - this is not the regular blogspam crap..
- halohunter, on 01/05/2008, -1/+11I use bitche (http://convivea.com/product.php?id=2) as it bypasses individual sites and downloads straight from the program but youtorrent.com looks like an awesome alternative.
- zcreem, on 01/05/2008, -0/+10How Demonoid was a tracker, this is only a search tool.
- walkingdogs, on 01/05/2008, -0/+9and if you want another alternative try scrapetorrent.com
- inactive, on 01/05/2008, -0/+9Add the youtorrent to your Firefox search bar
http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?name=www.y ... - lukas88, on 01/05/2008, -0/+9I was all ready to say "scrapetorrent already did it" too but clearly this is much better
- xxNIRVANAxx, on 01/05/2008, -0/+6Hamsters. You haven't seen the We're busy page?
- K31TH3R, on 01/05/2008, -1/+7WTF?
- archer104, on 01/05/2008, -0/+5"you"r mom.
- starsky51, on 01/05/2008, -1/+6It helps me find the Linux Distro ISOs with the most seeds.
Yeah.. that's it. - Melenor, on 01/05/2008, -0/+5YouTorrent also gleans torrents from isoHunt, so it's really eliminating the middle man. It sorts by the highest number of seeders by default, and isoHunt's trackers are rarely on top any more.
- smacksaw, on 01/05/2008, -3/+8If it has "you" at the beginning of the name you know it's got to be good.
- tanside, on 01/05/2008, -0/+5It appears to be going numerically and not even noticing if it's a month, day, or year. But it's still a nice site.
- benguild, on 01/05/2008, -2/+7I live in New Zealand, if I download a torrent is cuts off the rest of my ***** internet connection. It'll download at like 5kbps, but browsing web pages is blocked. ***** ISP. Rip off *****.
- t86y, on 01/05/2008, -2/+6Who runs Torrentz.com?
- cliffski, on 01/05/2008, -1/+5"Copyright © 2008 YouTorrent.com. All Rights Reserved."
***** hypocrites. - tbob19, on 01/05/2008, -3/+7What ads? (adblock plus ftw)
- alchemist27, on 01/05/2008, -0/+4what 2? and it's not actually utorrent, look closer, it's a symbol...
- chetanthaker, on 01/05/2008, -0/+42007 DVD rips were our 10 years ago ?? They NEED to fix the search. But LOVELY interface. Dugg !
- incd, on 04/18/2008, -0/+3Buried cause the worst string sanitation.
- PrometheusZero, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3Name works on so many levels....
- VoiceofPower, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3Which is also the symbol for micro (as in, micrometer).
- tutivlahos, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3It's the greek letter "M".
- ggbs, on 01/05/2008, -0/+3Great, another site that requires Javascript to even search. Not for me.
- colonelbuckshot, on 01/05/2008, -1/+4It's great, right up there with torrentz.com
- JayRD, on 01/05/2008, -1/+4To whom does this belong to? MPAA? RIAA?
- phantom_mullet, on 01/05/2008, -1/+3The #5 search term is "porn". I call that the "digg effect".
- TransmitThis, on 01/05/2008, -0/+2http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?name=http% ...
search engine plugin there works fine, - zarnmonster, on 01/05/2008, -0/+2I'm from New Zealand too, and yes, I'm pretty sure its the ***** ISPs we have here. I'm lucky if my torrents download above 10kB/s, but I am still able to browse at the same time.
- 000dom000, on 01/05/2008, -0/+2takes a bit long to load but it looks great.Thers also a couple of bugs like when using certain filters. Iv found my new torrentz.com
- drag0n, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1You should complain to your ISP. I don't think they're allowed do that unless it's in your terms and conditions.
- zcreem, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1I guess you have tried changing the port numbers from the default range that ISPs snail.
- roberto_deneero, on 01/06/2008, -0/+1No, it's only good if it says "beta" next to the logo.
- Sirlolalot, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1chronologists
- DontGiveADamn, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1I had problems with my router. My bittorrent runs 24/7. My router would crash all the time. Somebody out there suggested the D-Link Gaming Router. It can maintain many simultaneous connections and it's fast. I love this router. It is rock-solid, no more turning the router off and on.
- Takuro, on 01/05/2008, -1/+2It's got a really slick interface, but there's one major pitfall: It automatically sorts by seed count as opposed to relevance. It's not quite as accurate as Torrentz.com, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on this engine. It's not the best out there, but it has potential.
- DemonWasp, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1Check that it's not your router's fault. Some routers (notably Linksys ones) have a problem in their firmware that prevents any new connections while torrenting, and this would block your HTTP access to the outside world; it'd also severely limit your torrents' speed.
- cliffski, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1of course it is. but its funny watching the digg kiddies cry to mummy when they get thrown in a cell for downloading the stuff. Anyone who think they are anonymous when downloading pirated content is delusional. you just dodged the bullets so far.
- NorthKorea, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1i would only use this if i *could* sort by date. i'm past looking for individual things (i know i'm not the only one), i just want to know what's new and available right now, versus the last time i checked (which may be only 5 minutes ago...)
