WARNING: If you use the messenger list ad hack, it appears to break the "headphones" status with Launchcast or HyperIM. It might break other statuses as well. So if you want Launchcast-type statuses, I wouldn't suggest using this.
I say... I won't miss the headphones since it still shows the song name and artist. Plus my launchcast only works when it wants... As for breaking others, i haven't seen any others broken and the webcam one still works fine. So i still say YAY! to ad removal. - fatcandice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yay for no more ads on yahoo. i lub you nikolli. you're like my online god. well, number two god.. right after TOM.
- hatedjealousy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nikolas, you just gave me another place to thank you! :P This ad remover works perfectly. The ad in this version annoyed me lots, for some reason, especially since they decided to make it harder to go away. Thank you lots. Hopefully Yahoo! does not continue to add more annoying ads or other stuff that are hard to remove. Yes, I'm a dreamer, but i just really like using Yahoo!, regardless.
- nikolas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I fixed the LaunchCast bug, just redownload it. It's at the same link!!1
- n0sferatu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What about releasing a patch to edit the EXE itself rather than releasing the entire EXE. Don't get me wrong, it works great and thank you. However, releasing a patch would make me feel a bit safer plus would be smaller and easier to distribute.
- nikolas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1LaunchCast bug is fixed, as posted below.
- nikolas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Included in the zip file are:
- A patch to remove the advertisement from the bottom of the contact list.
- A patch to remove the advertisements in various other places of Yahoo! Messenger.
- A patch to allow you to run Yahoo! Messenger more than once. - nikolas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Updated Again: Included the multiyahoo.reg to allow you run more than one copy of Yahoo! Messenger at a time.
- icenfire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hi Nikolas,
