- sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -2/+36A+++ SUPER COOL SUBMITTER GOOD ARTICLE LOADS QUICK WOULD DIGG AGAIN!!!
- sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17If this aggregates closed eBay auction data he can expect a call from their lawyers. I built a search engine a while back that did this and spent millions fighting a good fight. He'll never win.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Jeez, every one of his submitted stories hit the first page, what's the secret?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9It seems a bit shady to me.
*Braces to be dugg down* - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I've seen somewhere the name of submitter, Kevin Rose...
- compconsultant, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12No privacy policy. No thanks.
- zlyoga, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8so if somoene wrote a fancy sounding privacy policy you'd feel safer. Some fancy small print on a website doesnt make me feel too safe
- sockpuppets, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I didn't say lawsuit, although it was litigious. But yes.
- zaren, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5That it does. This is why I registered with a spamtrap address, just in case.
(And if it does turn out to be a scam, can we blame the submitter of this article?) - adidos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@sockpuppet: You *actually* spent millions of dollars on a lawsuit defending your search tool?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Yea, where have I seen that guy before?
- compconsultant, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Looks like someone trolling for private data to me. Lots of disclaimers and no privacy policy.
- jeffbarnett513, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It is seriously messed up that people mentioning the site's lack of a privacy policy (which is a big deal) are getting buried, and this info is not getting to readers because of it.
- compconsultant, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Not fancy just considerate, don't trust any site who doesn't treat its users with respect. No privacy policy = no respect.
- OBKenobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Eh... what the hell does this do?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Bullets, stop plugging your own stories
- nbcivic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2.......ok, i really thought this would give you the research and the lowest prices and such. Instead i have to find it and put it in here, why bother?
- Rice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yes, very yes. Just for the hilarity.

Mortgage rates, home loans, mortgage, mortgages, refinance, second mortgages, tophomemortgageloan, top mortgages, best mortgage rates.
http://tophomemortgageloan.com - kingkilr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Just sent my aunt the link, she makes her living on eBay so I'm sure she will love this.
- hackwrench, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Ebay seriously needs to be cleaned up first though.
- aetherFox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Dugg, although I agree. This would have made the PS3/Wii auctions a little less silly (i.e., the amount of people buying stuff reading bad descriptions).
- LanceUppercut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Seems decent. Signing up for the API isn't something one does as a hobby. There are costs involved with API calls to the ebay service.
There are several research engines for ebay prices and none of these are free. How is this guy making money? - grafenberg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm not sure really, but I'm guessing it could be that the site was not concieved within the last 2 weeks, and that he simply hasn't noticed it yet. I'll send him an email explaining the problem, and I'll let you know what his response to it is. :-)
- ScottyQuest, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's Auctioneer for real life. Sweet.
- geoplaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Not that useful, are you kidding? Through WipBox I found an auction for getting on the front page of Digg and with the "Buy It Now" button, it only cost me a Nintendo Wii, a Cisco iPhone look-alike from Asia, a broken Zune, and a retarded hamster. (The hamster is protected by PayPal's "buyer safety" insurance).
- northernmonkee, on 04/15/2008, -0/+1Not as good as www.pricicle.com. That seems to address all of the issues commented on above.
- liquidboy2006, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1A Digg for the article because its interesting and i feel that others with my taste will appreciate this as news..
Digg down to all those negative comments regarding the "terms of service" crap.
Use your diggs wisely !! - undertoe, on 04/10/2009, -0/+0This blows, i just tried to post and item on it and displayed nothing for the craigslist category. don't waste your time.
- zdiggler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1can't search what's on sale from homepage no digg.
- steve1973adams, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pure junk - and they will keep your eBay account safe?!
- ravencin, on 01/22/2008, -0/+0a wipbox? check http://craigslistit.org
- Godlesswanderer, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Looks cool but I was hoping for a list of items people have searched and stuff like that. But it only seems to be of any use if you actually know exactly what you want to sell.
It's probably more for people that sell things a lot more often than I do for example. It's not that useful for me. - Luigi239, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Wow, looks great, and easy to use!
- mcottier, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Did Kevin create WipBox?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1dude, why it's
