- jknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Lame. I agree with Magister. If you need these 'unlocked' you likely need help with things like that MAGICAL place called WINDOWS UPDATE :)
- eschatonik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1all of these items are available without being "unlocked" by simply adding a link to them in the start menu or using the run box (win key + r).
for example...
type "dxdiag" in the run box to load the direct x diagnosis utility. - CaptSnuffy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1WTF most of these are already on the start menu!
- reef, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1lame, yet the number of diggs keeps going up and up!
- stonecipher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What "unlocking" is even involved here? Seems more likely the program is just adding the apps to the Start Menu. All the applications in the list can be run from the command line or by a double click in Explorer.
- treytech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yeah, whats up with the linux screenshot thing :p
- ashtonium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Reported as LAME
- elook, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1How does this junk end up on the front page? Seriously...
- Annorax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How do you define "hidden"?
I agree with most here, many if not all of these programs do not require third party software to expose. - magister, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1If you need a special program to do this for you, then you probably shouldn't be messing with any of the programs that are "unlocked"
- kevinnn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lol how lame
- masterdebater, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anyone got a hidden fix for "Page cannot be displayed" due to this webserver getting cratered?
- drbroccoli, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What a joke. No digg.
- DewayneSmith, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Since when is task manager a hidden application?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wtf, task manager isnt a hidden application?
- spamdies, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0someone needs to tell that dude to open the control panel, then tell him you wrote this new program called control panel that allows you to "access" "hidden" "features"
LAME - chamblah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1why not publish how to unlock the apps rather than having a program that does it for you? seems a bit unsecure to me to do it that way.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Anyone got a hidden fix for "Page cannot be displayed" due to this webserver getting cratered?"
yeah, i built a crappy app to ad it to my startmenu! - dragonmortal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0CLI = HIDDEN?
- jarbro, on 07/23/2009, -0/+0seriously? if you think these apps were locked you should be using a computer.
- Sizzor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is lame. These utilities are hidden to anyone who doesn't know how to Start--->Run.

- micromause, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Yeah, what stonecipher said... =P
- minion, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Particularly telling is the fact that the screenshot is not even running WinXP, but a linux distro. Me no diggee
- StephnDolenc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0haha, what a waste of digg
