- whitehawk, on 06/19/2008, -0/+4I almost never install anything without checking with Gizmo first. If I need new software, this is where I find out what to get. Brilliant site!!!
- atkinsba, on 06/19/2008, -0/+2Gizmo Richards' newsletter is worth its weight in gold (or uranium if that's more valuable!). His The Best-ever Freeware Utilities List at http://www.techsupportalert.com/ gives a plethora of free programs covering all aspects of PC use. Not only is it a convenient place to find the top software but it can save hundreds of dollars too!
- rsherry, on 06/19/2008, -0/+2I don't have a lot of time to try software, so Gizmo does it for me (all his readers/members). Then, if we like it, 99.9% of the time, so do I! I have NEVER had a problem with anything Gizmo recommended. Great site.......nothing more to say there. Thanks, Gizmo.
- Moosicmaster, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1Hi-
If Gizmo and his volunteer helpers dig Digg, then so do I. Keep us the great work everybody!
Very Best Regards,
Moosicmaster - Archpoet, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1A great site. Always has solid recommendations for the best freeware, good comparisons (frequently updated) of what's available, and, importantly, will tell you clearly when freeware products don't entirely stack up against the commercial versions. One of the most useful services on the Web for the software junkie.
- neiljw, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1Great site and Gizmo's Newsletter is worth way more than the subscription. Good advice, researched well. I've relied on this site for years.
- geneb527, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1I dig digg and Gizmo does great work. His commentaries are extremely important to any recommendations I make for software usage.
- electrichead, on 06/20/2008, -0/+1I've only subscribed myself to one newsletter, ever. Well worth it!
- sckyip, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1After all these years, Gizmo's newsletter remains one of the best I can found in the field. I agree to folks who digg here and have no reservation in recommending his resourceful web site.
- phaoloo, on 12/09/2008, -0/+1that's a great list of freeware.
- Spindizzy1999, on 06/19/2008, -0/+1Having found it I have shared it with family & friends. That is something that I rarely do but Gizmo's newsletter is a mine of advice and information I just would not be without. Best of all his website contains back issues and all the software you could reasonably want. Fantastic.
- inactive, on 06/19/2008, -0/+0One of the most useful and resourceful sites I've found. I became a Premium member do to the great information I receive every month with the Premium newsletter! Thanks Gizmo
- djrickyb, on 06/19/2008, -0/+0THE place to go.
Never steered me wrong. - Gildagirl, on 06/19/2008, -0/+0A fantastic site which I recommend to everyone I know. I've saved lots of money from using Gizmo's freeware alternatives, but also value his recommendations when it's worth buying premium software. Keep up the good work!
- skybright, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0This is one of the best, most useful sites on the web for free software. Gizmo will not ever lead you wrong. All the sites he recommends are clean and you can find virtually any freeware program you have a need for.
- Gwydioan, on 06/19/2008, -0/+0Gizmo (www.techsupportalert.com/) is currently my favorite source of freeware. It pushed my previous favorite. www.nonags.com (also an excellent source of freeware), down to second place.
- techgirl2008, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0Gizmo's newsletter is the only one that I've signed up volunteered! www.techsupportalert.com is my favorite resource of free programs. I trust only in this site. FORZA GIZMO! Thank you for sharing this stuff with us! SEI GRANDE!
- Ryess, on 06/21/2008, -0/+0Simply one of the best and indispensible tech sites out there! :-) I tell you all, if you don't even know about this great website or even subscribe to his RSS or newsletter, you're completely missing out a lot, dude! What are you waiting for?! Go and subscribe to his RSS or newsletter! Believe me from my own personal experience, you're doing a good deed for yourself. Well worth of your time and effort! Kudos to Mr. Ian "Gizmo" Richards! May you keep up the good work!... :-D
- regeu, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0I always check Gizmo if I need to use or download a new program. Only if I do not find any mention of the freeware program do I try to find the software in other reputed sites.
- jebissell, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0Gizmo is the best! I subscribe to his newsletter - it's that consistently good. I check with Gizmo first when I need new software.
- AnnaThib, on 06/20/2008, -0/+0Gizmo has helped me many times with finding great, virus-free freeware and that's especially important since so there's so much trash on the Net these days. You can tell he puts a lot of effort into his recommendations and they're timely, too. It's all quality stuff! I can't believe he kicks all that out in a newsletter, too.
Go! Go! Gizmo! - inactive, on 06/29/2008, -0/+0As an IT support professional, I am constantly being asked for good, free software. This is one site I can add to my arsenal of free software finds.
- bonnieandjack, on 06/27/2008, -0/+0I only use programs from sites recommended from Gizmo
- jazb, on 06/26/2008, -0/+0Absolutely brilliant site, basically all the programs I use were recommended from Gizmo!
- vlpld, on 06/25/2008, -0/+0Grande site, o melhor...
Bem haja!

This is a short translation of people just said. They said all and well.
Best regards! - funkybeats6, on 06/28/2008, -0/+0I've been a member for several years and this is always the first place I check when looking for program information. You will go back time and time again.
- xmgp, on 07/01/2008, -0/+0Gizmo is the man. I've been a subscriber now for 3 or 4 years and I am yet to see another source that beats techsupport.alert in its given field. Don't stop doing what you do Gizmo! :D
- cyberhawlk, on 06/22/2008, -0/+0Gizmo Richards site is for new computer users and those with a lot of computer tallent. I was new to computers 2 years ago now i know so much because of Gizmo, the money i have saved is unbelievable, the time i have saved is awesome and the knowledge i have gotten you cannot compare.this site is the most comprensive for freeware, knowledge, and time saved i know of. I got caught a few times with some products because i forgot to check it out on gizmo site. If something is not mentioned on Gizmo site i leave it alone,i have found if it is not on Gizmos site you do not need it.why spend hours and hours on the net researching a product like i have, when gizmo has done it for me.So do yourself a big big big favour and use Gizmo.i had a question i needed an answer to i emailed gizmo and it was answered promptly and this is not a service Gizmo normally gives.I hate giving recommondations but i find i have no choice because everyone needs this site, i was extremely lucky to find it,now you are too,you are very fortunate.Go for it you will definetly not be sorry.
- JohnnyMackBrown, on 07/08/2008, -0/+0The Gizmo site and newsletter is one of the best I have ever found. Concise, diversified, truthful, accurate. So much to explore. I really think that a user can't go wrong taking advice from Gizmo.
- gaffrig, on 07/04/2008, -0/+0When you need to do something with or to your computer it's hard to know who to trust for programs and whether they actually work or not. Gizmo's lists are very well researched and are honest about what to expect. Great site with great advice, Thanks Gizmo and team!
- Ryess, on 06/21/2008, -0/+0You can also try subscribing to WindowsSecrets.com... Aslo a good and respected site... Good luck... :-)
