- eclectro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I need skypein, which these other services don't have. With skypein I was able to dump my local phone company which I wanted to do for a long time and was happy to be able too. Plus (a big one) they have a linux client. So I'm a happy customer.

Maybe we should rewrite that Frank Sinatra song... you know "My way" and change the lyrics "I did it my way... and thats why I am dead and should burn in hell" or rewrite a new song... almost like it, but GPL it and have it go "I did it our way... comrade". Seriously people. Just quit. Stop this kind of complaining. Or at least focus on other things... like making good open source software.
I am sooo glad I dropped out of the programming undustry because there is no future if you cant charge or get paid for your work because it should be free for everyone to copy and use.
Wait here is a great idea! Lets take free software, bundle it, and make money on it buy offering tech support... yes... support contracts... that will insure that the software never works right... because if it did.. who would need support? - h377r1d3r, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Skype sound quality is far from being superior. The software doesn't have to be open source, but it should at least comply with open standards, unlike Skype.
