Lame, copying a funny comment from below. - Mark0Pon, on 10/11/2007, -5/+136I have seen the same page the other day, after doing a query with Google; one with nothing special or exotic.
- FadieZ, on 10/11/2007, -16/+126Is it just me or does google.uk seem oldschool?
- mmgreenmms, on 10/11/2007, -9/+101If anything, IE people need help.

We here on Digg don't do that, if you want to make crude ASCII art go to YouTube, you will be welcomed there. - Bara, on 10/11/2007, -4/+37Well have you tried doing what they suggested? Try running anti-virus and anti-spyware to make sure your PC hasn't been hijacked...
- anizzle, on 10/11/2007, -0/+30This is what happens when you don't search for pRon, google doesn't know what to do.
- renesisx, on 10/11/2007, -8/+33Do you know what causes it? :(
It thinks I'm a robot on every query now! - Anonymous3, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26I got the same thing while searching for folders containing MP3s by using that stupid special search method.
- psykiv, on 10/11/2007, -5/+27I wonder exactly which anti-virus and anti-spyware program they link you to...
- Quakes, on 10/11/2007, -1/+23If you've become a radiation mutant with a deformed hand, remember to close the window. No one wants to see that.

So there were "two" people at your high school...come on...you are lying aren't you? You didn't really go to High School. - DietMountainDew, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20WTF? You own a mortgage website and you're searching for Spam Assassin Rules? What are you planning to do...?
- HunterTV, on 10/11/2007, -2/+20Your name wouldn't happen to be Deckard would it? If so, I gotta tell ya, you should've seen this coming.
- 97thfloor, on 10/11/2007, -4/+22It is from too many queries, they think you are running automated query scripts.
Don't get me wrong I hate IE as much as anyone I will not use it but you guys are plain childish. - jhshukla, on 10/11/2007, -1/+19but what did you search for? I mean the search string.
- FizixMan, on 10/11/2007, -3/+20Ahhh I digged therealdeal101's comment without reading below. I feel all dirty now. I'm going to take a shower and cry a bit. I feel the same way as I did after installing IE7 and finding out what an absolute disaster it was. Why the heck does it lock up while performing DNS lookups? ***** unacceptable Microsoft.

- user777, on 10/11/2007, -5/+20yup google is awesome, i'm glad it's doing all it can to protect users like me.
- scarystuff, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13Buried as a pathetic advert for his company.
- ndiderrich, on 10/11/2007, -4/+16it's also telling you you have a "primpl"
- ThankTheCheese, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13the same thing was happening to Leo Laporte on his Tech Guy radio show/podcast (go to http://www.twit.tv and download them to see. it's one of the last 2 or 3 episodes, i can't remember which one specifically). He was getting frustrated because he couldn't do google searches for callers.
at the time, he was using a Mac, so that would suggest it is unlikely to be a spyware issue. - StiGUP, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11you are part of the botnet community ...welcome. :)
- thermus, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Not sure why you're getting dugg down. This is shameless self promotion for his site.
- alexmuller, on 10/11/2007, -2/+11I believe that it can happen when Google receives too many queries from a certain IP address or location - though I don't have any evidence to back that up.
Example: on the first day back at school after holidays we were all getting these error messages - nobody had been using the internet access much over the last month, and all of a sudden a few hundred people start searching. As far as I know, there's no solution - it should just go away after a few days. - Celeron, on 10/11/2007, -9/+170101010101000019903489ujiodsfjoij897890 oh screw this.
- Forgotten, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8You may have a zombie computer on your hands. I suggest checking for viri with hijackthis or prevx1.
I know when I use my google query script (on my website) it thinks Im a bot, and for good reason: Its an automated system. Now with your computer you may have a virus that automatically searches google for a specific string. - feintnate, on 10/11/2007, -9/+16Oh and by the way, would you like to refinance?
- CyberInferno, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10Opera may technically be better at rendering sites than Firefox, but it certainly does not provide for a better browsing experience. I appreciate that its mouse gestures and tab control are built in. Although Opera's keyboard and mouse shortcuts can be configured to your heart's content, Opera doesn't provide for the level of tab flexibility that Tab Mix Plus for Firefox does. Also, integrated WMP players are not nearly as well-done in Opera. I'm not arguing that it's necessarily Opera's fault, but the overall browsing experience and extendability of Firefox make it a better browser for the average user.
One of the best Firefox features is that it prioritizes your history list when you type in websites. It's such a simple feature that I've never seen on another browser (not saying that no other browser has it, but I've personally never seen another browser with that feature).
The real question is why everyone still hates IE. It's gotten better. It will never be an open source browser, but Microsoft has at least listened to their customer base. You don't have to hate it just because Microsoft released it. - plingboot, on 10/11/2007, -4/+11Aren't all google error pages low bandwidth like this?

People like you are the reasons other people don't use PNG. They believe PNGs are larger just because they support 8-bit alpha transparency.
PNGs CAN do 256 colours. They can do anything GIF does except animation. - duuk2k2, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Only happens to me when using an open proxy.
Probably as all the above have said, too many requests from the same IP. - Tonamel, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6I had this problem a little while back. I ran my spyware cleaners, and the problem went away.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -19/+25Its when two many people on your networking are making lots of google querys.. used to happen alot when i was back in high school.
Its nothing amazing or digg worthy. Just wait a few mins and try again jeez... - Rhino2, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7you need to get the hell off my digg. We ain't like your kind around here Mister "I'm made of metal and will eventually bring harm to and take over; you and your society".
- belegdae, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6There are 3 different PNG file types... 8, 16 and 32 bit. The 32 bit supports alpha transparency.
As for the google error page, there are no images, just html - ciram, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7As for when they started doing this...
I got one of those many months ago. I'm guessing more than a year now. I was just doing some normal googling, on my mac, with firefox, and then boom! It thought I was a robot. I typed in the letters and thus proved otherwise. Then it let me keep going. -
