- dan_r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Umm... "you have to put it in the same directory as pPod in your pocket pc and run it from your pocket pc, then just browse to the keygen from your pocket pc and open it, go to register and enter any random code in there, it should give you a code, write it down and go back to register and enter that code that you wrote down in there, now it should be registered. Once you are done, you can delete the keygen from your pocket pc"
That should help! - dmbrooking, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2and what exactly will they be sued for?
- stokestack, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"STOP BUYING DRM INFESTED MUSIC"
EXACTLY. Come on people. Don't line up to PAY MONEY for stuff you CAN'T USE as you see fit. And compressed, degraded sound at that.
Stand up for yourselves. - Genericity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can't get key generation working... any advice? Otherwise the demo is nice - good digg.
- FrostyFire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Site is sort of working.

http://members.dslextreme.com/users/oscar.j4l/ppod.zip - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Just play the damn music and stop trying to imitate an ipod. If you want one, get it.
I cant help think about the "posers" on that cell phone commercial.
- digg for a lame story - Kyogre56, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Pretty old, has been around for a while already. Apple already sued the company forcing them to change the name from ppod to pbop and then eventually deleting it from their sites. It only plays mp3s and yes, the keygen works. As I remember, you had to run the keygen on the PPC. Good Luck with the keygen and such.
- evil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this thing is old, but its a great app! The pocket PC really is THE ultimate media player. Size, performance, power, wifi, bluetooth, every media format supported...now if only they had SD cards bigger than 2 gig...
- Leftyshields, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1but does it work with itunes.
- ct2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is years old ! - they got shut down a long time ago!
- archer75, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very cool
- Paul_Allen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is stupid. There are tons of music player programs for pocketpc that are better than this.
- SmeRndmGy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3i'd rather have a pocket pc. and as for the "does it work with itunes" people, STOP BUYING DRM INFESTED MUSIC. regular mp3 files work with everything.
- mightymouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0someone smart who knows code should mod this to fit the new ipod video. that would be really, really, REALLY cool.
- LawrenceDudley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Can someone make a version of this for the Sony Ericsson P910i? It runs symbian, it can't be that hard to do a port.
- lamprey187, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"this thing is old, but its a great app! The pocket PC really is THE ultimate media player. Size, performance, power, wifi, bluetooth, every media format supported...now if only they had SD cards bigger than 2 gig.."
no offense but by your logic one could argue the PSP was superior. Not a big fan of flash memory that is so limited.....the wifi on both is nice though. - Pharoah6905, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its actually pretty old. but its nice to know that even though they got sued its still available.
- _skin_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0what about MS smartphones?
- Genericity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dan_r - I was expecting a console based app to launch for the keygen. Anyways - thanks it worked like a champ.
- simpled, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Does the clickwheel work though?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is such old news my grandma knows about it
it's also a defunct app that hasnt been in development for about 2 years. - GoatHerderEd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2If it doesnt play the iTMS songs, it is worthless.
- dgath, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Haha... that's funny, all these fanbois are pissed now.
"It doesn't play iTunes"
Why would that be a feature anyways? You can get cheaper, higher quality, less restrctive legal music elsewhere. If Apple didn't have you locked into the ITMS, you be a fool to continue shopping there. Enjoy your variable pricing that will be coming soon.
Thanks though, I'll stick with my other media player programs for my Axim. - rc_collins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Sooooo old.
--dan - J3bu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool app, bit i'm pretty sure it'll go down soon, so hit it while you can....Don't hit it too badly though!
- jacksbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why?
- SmeRndmGy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0you can put more than 2 movies on a 2 gig card. you can compress a full movie down to around 200 mb and if you're gonna watch it on a pocket pc it is more than enough quality.
- bartclan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great app--another freeware mp3 player with an conversation-starter interface. Dugg!
- ebob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My iPaq, along with Microsoft Plus! Digital Media Edition and Voice Command works well for me. I can sync my WMP playlists with the SD card in the iPaq and use the voice command to play music as I am driving down the road. Until iPods have voice command, I won't be buying one.
- Bobbler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ppod?
They already got threatened by Apple and took the product off the market a nearly two years ago.
Old as you like! - veritech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wanted something like this for my palm (im not interested in any palm vs windows mobile convos!) for pocket tunes, it would speed up one handed navigation alot. Nice digg
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cant get the key to work in the direcory of the program this dont work need advice
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0failed to get owner name
- DollaBill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0old stuff....
I just hustled myself a new 1 from japan.... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0fixed it i like it
- burthahotel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its a good idea, i might do it, i cant really do much else.
- Blizaine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I installed a copy of this like 2-3 years ago... then apple threatened to sue the developer or something
- diggkeygen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anybody that can help, I have a hx4700, cannot find the "keygen".
What folder is it in or how do I run it?
Is it built in to the Pocket PC os or do I have to download it?
I'm running WM 2003.
Thanks in advance. - pillfred, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I doubt the ipod succes is about fanboys etc. For me it was the best deal for the cash. Sure it cost more than other mp3 players,k but really am i gonna spend 150$ on some 1 gig mp3 player, or i can spend twice that and get a 30 ipod. Anyhow has for the this app, cool idea its good to get the most out of whaterver you have; be it an ipod, zen whatever, or pocket pc.
- jackspack, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1lamprey - the pockpc is far superior than psp - pocketpc's can do far more than a psp can do.
- Paul, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0DUPE
- CptnObvious, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I would rather turn an iPod into a Pocket PC than the other way around
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Why would I want to do that? I'd miss the ability to play WMAs and WMVs! ;-) (I can put two full-length movies on a 2GB memory stick, WMV compressed, and have enough battery life to watch them both. My video iPod conks out after about 1:30 of continuous video watching.)

http://www.robert.to/ - aacidusX, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0so everyone disses this crap of an old program but I get a minus 1? wtf
- dan_r, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Sh*t, sorry for my bad spelling, it should be "An" not "And". Still a good digg though!!! :D
- moose_diggs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Ummmmm.... like an Ipod except just missing one thing... about 60 gigs of HD space... LMFAO
- nacs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1So a ***** skin can turn a PocketPC into an iPod?
Does the skin make it sync with itunes too?
Does putting that ***** skin on the PDA make it have 4 - 80GB of storage?
Does putting that ***** skin on make it play AAC files?
I didn't think so.
If you like ipods, buy an ipod.
Lame. No digg. - aacidusX, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1worthless, program is old anyway.

What is Digg?
