- SushiCW, on 03/09/2009, -0/+27For extra fun, hit the button again after a few seconds. It's even funnier when done as a round.
- alexp2ad, on 03/09/2009, -0/+27For super scary times, click the cat at the bottom right about 10 times as quickly as possible.
- flyingmeteor, on 03/09/2009, -0/+24Those all suck
- timothycrash01, on 03/09/2009, -0/+24The company is called Sound Ideas. They are the biggest sound effects library company in the world - and everyone in Hollywood uses them. The Series 6000 library - aka "The General" was one of the first commercial releases and has been around forever - a collection of 40 discs that include everything from sirens to weather, gun shots, etc. (There are now tons of add ons to the original.)
Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, BBC, Warner Brothers, Sony, Universal, Disney, Turner, all create and release sound effects for this company. They ain't cheap either. One of their bigger collections goes for around $13,000. Libraries can also be as specific as a 10 disc set of trailer 'swooshes', or sci fi explosions, or 20 discs of different gun sounds, or 15 disc set of room tones (the ambient sound of a room when no one is in it - fans, traffic outside, fridge / furnace running, etc.)
Any studio, production house, composers studio, sound design edit suite, etc. you walk into in the professional world will have walls of these libraries. To get an idea of how big these guys are - here's a full list of all their libraries:
http://sound-ideas.com/order.html
To be honest though. Many major films have custom built sounds for each film. (Like Wall-E, Star Wars, etc.) But television uses these a lot because of budget / schedule.
There is also a whole other world of these libraries for music. If you ever wonder why you hear the same drum loops, music melodies, etc. in different TV shows, it's because composers use the same type thing - only by different companies like Spectrasonics, Big Fish Audio, Zero-G, East West, etc. Collections of 10's of thousands of drum loops, bass lines, guitar melodies, etc. - CrispinJava, on 03/09/2009, -2/+24I think these ones are more fun - http://www.audiencesounds.com :)
- Madcow17, on 03/09/2009, -0/+19Dugg for accuracy. Filed under: Super Scary Times.

This is infinitely fun. My combination of the man grunting, groaning and breathing, combined with the woman and baby crying sounded disturbing until I added the audience laughing uproariously and clapping. Then it became legendary. - MtheoryX, on 03/09/2009, -0/+12GOD BLESS YOU, SIR!!!
- MacEnvy, on 03/09/2009, -0/+11I can't stop clicking it!
- FastZ, on 03/09/2009, -3/+14The Emergency Yodel should start being included in first aid kits.
- MtheoryX, on 03/09/2009, -0/+10I shed a tear. ;(
- inactive, on 03/09/2009, -0/+10No, Jim would just turn and stare at the camera for a second or two.
Maybe there's a website for that. - unholymackerel, on 03/09/2009, -0/+10I call instant crickets on your comment.
- qwertydvorak, on 03/09/2009, -0/+10i wish they had used the yodel from that price is right game where the little man goes up the hill and falls off the cliff at top.

- chromevinyl, on 03/09/2009, -1/+8I want an Ed McMahon "HEYO!" button,

- inactive, on 03/09/2009, -0/+6I used to keep a tab of that open on my laptop and would use it to punctuate lines on TV. It would have my girlfriend cracking up.
