- NiteMayr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Seriously, is twitter paying for these articles now?
- fastfood15, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15twitter is the prime example of web 2.0 one-hit wonders. seriously, who can see themselves using this in 2 years?
- 405994, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Dugg because title sounds like sexual reference.
- jexdawg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Twitter?
- cloneenolc, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12SPAM! Quite ruining our site with your marketing corporate scumbags.
- enderwig, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Am I the only one who thinks that @killermouse0 and @Gareshra are employed by twitter?
- AdrianLamo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6OK, who at Twitter is astroturfing these things? Seriously. If you want publicity ... I dunno, hire William Shatner like everybody else :P
I'm watching you, Twitter PR guy! >:o - akira117, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Wow this site is totally useless.....
I mean come on who really cares what I'm doing right now besides ladies on 900 numbers. - sonik3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Am I the only one who clicked on this expecting to see people contorting themselves playing the game Twister?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, probably.
- logic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, 310 diggs and almost every comment is a complaint. I wish more people I know in meatspace used Twitter. They really need to do a better job selling/explaining it on the front page - I think most people (including myself) walk away thinking "why should I care?"
- skykid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Twitter is cool ( :
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Oh, so many haters! Whatever. Twitter *is* a ton of fun. It's all in how you use it.
- killermouse0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Don't be like this ... I like what's shinning and new ;-)
Besides, I do think that Twitter can be useful if you start "working out of the box". I'm not so fond of the status notification thing, but I do like the fact that you can send messages from {Web, IM, mobile} to {Web, IM, mobile}. Tons of applications for who can play with the API (limited for now), or web forms automation ! - realstarspace, on 04/10/2008, -0/+0I use Twitter everyday to help my business. It's great.
- redbone, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1When I first saw this, I thought it was a shortened form of "titty twister." But no, it's worse. It's like a little stalker service for people with dependency issues.
- donkeyshow, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Одним повезло, парень
- DrPill, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Looks like a website from the 80's...what's up with the design/layout?!
- cdeloos, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Am i the only one that had never heard of this before and doesn't want to hear from it ever again even without checking out the site itself :/
- diggmanchu, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1DrPill: "Looks like a website from the 80's"
ohh my god... - willski, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Twitter's much more interesting once you start using it. The closest analog I can come up with is a low-traffic IRC channel where someone occasionally says something interesting crossed with a CB radio. It would be more useful if it included topical groups (ala flickr and everyone else) to connect people with similar interests/location/etc who don't necessarily know each other. They're kind of experimenting with a special SXSW group for people at the conference...
- Gareshra, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4I have to confess Twitter seemed like another social networking site that I wouldn't be interested in, at first. This is helping me to reconsider. Twitter is an amazing idea when you think of how flexible it is without bogging you down.
- killermouse0, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1Very interesting article ... and I didn't even know that twitter had a direct_message feature ... doh !
- franchisepick, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1Interesting article. Thanks.
