- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18That's one task for them to work on.
- amandaw33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Wish Google would integrate tasks in their calendar on their own, but this is a good link in the meantime. Thanks
- dharmafl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5It's not easier, it's mobile. I've got two offices with PCs and a laptop for the road and keeping everything up in the cloud is the only way to stay sane and get anything done. Which I can't with a post-it that's 40 or 1,000 miles away.
- offsky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I just thought I would point out that http://www.toodledo.com has had Google Calendar integration for some time now, and it has many more features than remember the milk.
I switched from Milk to Toodledo and have never looked back. - andreirailean, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3When you add Remember The Milk to your Google calendar, the monthly mini-calendar displays ALL dates in bold, even though there's nothing on that date.
A nice add-on otherwise. - burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If this integrated with knotes, I think I'd be in heaven.
- hawk_eye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well yeah ! funny why they havn't done it till now. Too busy adding fancy features such as moon phase in GCal eh ?
- Foppah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is it possible to backup Google Calender? Like automatic download the calenderfile to my computer or a ftp server?
- ike368, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2what? "egg and milk minder" isnt enough?!
- flcnstu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I love this thing. I spend more time on my google than my outlook and this makes it much easier for me to keep track of the things i am doing each day.
- matija, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i thought this new one was buggy too, but remember people: REPLY TO THE email they send to verify your email otherwise it won't work
- TheGentleman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hmm, if you look at the screenshot at the RMilk-blog you'll see that the all the dates there are bold too. This looks like a feature... Hope they will do something about that though.
- FlyboyP, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think RTM is trying to get bought out by Google. Please oh please, big G, see what we can do together?
But I do like having a task list in my GCal. It's something that's been glaringly missing all along. The downside is that I'm sure with Google's "features, not products" initiative they are already working on this, and will soon make it obsolete. - izzyb412, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I prefer this greasemonkey script instead http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/3827
- bdee1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1one of the things that i have been dying for is for gmail notifier to show a popup of some sort as a reminder for items on my google calendar. this alone has prevented me from heavily using google calendar.
I know that they can send reminders via email or sms but for me, i like to have that popup on my computer. - Renshep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Remember the milk is an awesome service, I've been using it for many months. They have added tonnes of features and it is a really powerful to-do list. If google comes out with an underwhelming to do list of their own, it will be a shame because of people missing out on this tremendous site.
tags, folders, keyboard shortcuts, mobile reminders and access, even seeing tasks on a map, and more are offered. - smokinguns, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i cant get it to work.. isn't it fire fox compatible ?
- imhdab, on 12/19/2008, -0/+0I LOVE that I don't have to carry a daytimer/planner around everywhere too!
- Universal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I wish Google would buy Remember the Milk, it's a great little tool. A must have companion to Google Calendar.
- bramhubbell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There is another great way to integrate RTM with Google. If you use Firefox, you can use the Gmail Skins extension. With this extension installed, the left column of my personalized Google homepage shows up within GMail. And on the left column of my personalized homepage, I have the Google Calendar widget and the Remember the Milk widget. This way I can always see the current month and the daily agenda from my Google calendar, and a list of my upcoming To Dos from Remember the Milk. In essence, I’ve integrated Google Calendar and Remember the Milk ToDos into GMail.
- nacs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Why would Google buy it and work on integrating it into their product when they can just code it themselves without much difficulty?
- frob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'm thrilled about this. I've been using rtm and google cal separately for ages now and have been dying for them to integrate.
- ienjoyhotsoup, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have Gmail Skins and have the google calendar and Remember the Milk as well. When I first installed Gmail Skins, it worked properly and only integrated the left hand column. Now I'm having problems with Gmail Skins because it stuffs all three columns into that little space, so its not as readable. Are you having this problem at all??
- casemac, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I dont understand how this is any easier than Outlook or post it notes.
- meno, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Now if only I could add Remember The Milk tasks from a netvibes homepage module!
