- inactive, on 05/30/2009, -18/+512Downlaoding 'Mozilla'?! Is this 2001?
- Asphyxia8489, on 05/30/2009, -24/+419IMHO, I completely agree.
- postitnote, on 05/30/2009, -20/+377You download chrome with firefox.
- mickhead, on 05/30/2009, -3/+233Wandows!
- spiri, on 05/30/2009, -6/+179This graphic is soooooooooooooooo old, long before Chrome and probably Safari too.
- PeterFile, on 05/30/2009, -55/+177IE 8 is actually a massive improvement.
- ColonelSlanders, on 05/30/2009, -23/+142ie8 is ok but it still sucks. it feels very sluggish
firefox 3 is best ever
mormons like firefox 3 more than ie8 - thetayloreffect, on 05/30/2009, -9/+122I prefer Lynx... graphics are overrated.
- inactive, on 05/30/2009, -69/+181Where's chrome and safari ?
- Lorddias, on 05/30/2009, -1/+104Looks like Pac-Man had a long night at the bar.
- saucer, on 05/30/2009, -3/+101best response ever
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -26/+122No it isn't. By their refusal to support HTML5 in IE8 they are, once again, holding back technologies that are going to massively improve the web for everyone. EVERY other major browser supports HTML5, but we won't be able to use its wonderful features because of Microsoft's refusal to move with the times, even though they know full well that these standards depend on them embracing them.
- fallore, on 05/31/2009, -0/+70he said in a digg thread about a picture...
- tonychenyj, on 05/30/2009, -37/+106IE sucks. GO GO Firefox.
- somedudemanguy, on 05/30/2009, -10/+79Yeah it's called firefox.
- rnawky, on 05/30/2009, -2/+68Vista and 7 = no more website based Windows Update.
Where have you been? - undervalued, on 05/30/2009, -6/+67One and only 'surf' on IE7 was to download Firefox. Since then it has only occasionally been used to test website CSS
- Ainsleh, on 05/30/2009, -7/+67Forgot Windows Update.
- EoNhausen, on 05/30/2009, -12/+61Polish a turd, it's still a turd.
- rnawky, on 05/30/2009, -2/+50where Lynx was created....
Go on - oepapel, on 05/30/2009, -1/+48Please... one religious war at a time guys.
- Repeater2000, on 05/30/2009, -23/+69Yup! Elegant design for certain. MS is on a roll imo, Zune is looking good, bing/kumo looks great as well.
Good show ms. - fattehboi, on 05/31/2009, -4/+47'China'?! Is this Mozirra?!
- blackinthmiddle, on 05/30/2009, -1/+41They also forgot checking your design to make sure it looks good in IE.
- klashar, on 05/30/2009, -4/+44And windows 7 too.
- incidentflux, on 05/30/2009, -0/+39Where can we see Digg's browser stats?
- Urrelles, on 05/30/2009, -1/+39Nah I disagree, they forgot one catergory.
Checking email on AOL.com. Anyone who actually uses internet explorer seems to use AOL also. - ds420, on 05/30/2009, -6/+44this is stupid
- StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -13/+50Sure, if you want to argue semantics, HTML5 is not yet a ratified W3C standard. However, the base work for it and the main points are well laid out at this time and by supporting the draft versions the other browser makers are supporting the future of the web, helping develop the standard and making their software and users ready for the standard when it is complete, while Microsoft put their fingers in their ears and go "LALALALALA".
I have no irrational hatred of Microsoft. I have a very rational hatred of some of their business and software decisions, whilst at the same time enjoying many of the other fruits of their labour. - thatcat, on 05/30/2009, -11/+47Dugg for downloading Opera... cause that is the only reason I used IE on Windows 7
- rnawky, on 05/30/2009, -7/+40Firefox is "sluggish" compared to Chrome.
Now that Chrome has an adblock extension, I'm never going back. - ZippyV, on 05/30/2009, -16/+48HTML 5 is not a recommendation. Why would Microsoft implement an unfinished specification that can and will be changed in the future?
- inactive, on 05/30/2009, -7/+39Believing some guy was told where to find buried Native American records is more far-fetched than a God embodying Himself as a carpenter, solely for the purpose of dying? Mormons aren't any crazier than other religious people.
- paulsabo, on 05/30/2009, -2/+32Using Windows XP?
- wastern, on 05/31/2009, -1/+30All parents use Yahoo
- ravage86, on 05/30/2009, -2/+29"Mozilla Firefox" but not "Microsoft Internet Explorer"
I don't have a point, just thought it was interesting - Hortnon, on 05/30/2009, -5/+32"M$"
You kids are so cute... - ajcates, on 05/30/2009, -3/+30As much as I hate to say this, you do have a point.
- A mac fan boy. - the8thbit, on 05/30/2009, -0/+27You use Chrome to download Mosaic.
- alpha88, on 05/30/2009, -2/+28You forgot "/s".
- Spire3660, on 05/30/2009, -1/+27I take perverse pleasure in making sure mozilla.com is the first site i visit on a fresh windows install.
- appleofdischord, on 05/30/2009, -1/+27Also needs "Lack administrative privileges on work computer"
- ninfudo, on 05/31/2009, -1/+26From Microsoft's website: "Emerging standards - Internet Explorer 8 incorporates advancements for what will become the standards of tomorrow, such as W3C’s HTML 5 Draft DOM Storage standard, the Web Applications Working Group’s Selectors API and ECMAScript 3.1 endorsed syntax." http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/newsroom/window ...
- stuckinneutral, on 05/30/2009, -18/+42Still like Chrome.
- homercles337, on 05/30/2009, -20/+44Safari? Ha ha, yea, right.
- linuxpenguin, on 05/31/2009, -0/+23In case you couldn't see - it says "Mozilla" not "Firefox".
Before Firefox existed, there was Mozilla. Mozilla was later renamed "Mozilla Application Suite", and then later again to "SeaMonkey".
In other words - this was most likely made before Safari and Chrome (and even Firefox) existed. - jeexbit, on 05/30/2009, -1/+24What, no love for developers? I only use IE to test web sites - you know, make sure they aren't doing anything *weird* (in IE).
- ACiDGRiM, on 05/30/2009, -14/+36Mormons are morons. You have to be a complete dolt to believe anything that joseph smith said. I mean come on, Golden Tablets?
- B1665r, on 05/30/2009, -24/+46there is no HTML5 standard. But please don't let the facts get in the way of your irrational hatred of Microsoft..
