- wurzelgummage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3LOL this guy signed up 2 days ago, and spams his own worthless site.
Now he's on the front page? I think the gaming digg problem still exists. - wurzelgummage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This is a worthless spam.
Also, the site ***** SUCKS. I put in "look to windward" and I got a page full of overpriced Australian online book stores as the results. I live in the UK.
No Amazon result. - nicnic77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm impressed how this site manages to break my scroll wheel..
- arrowsmyth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2there a better site.
http://www.addall.com
and it searches magazine, music and movies - OdinThor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I agree with arrowsmyth. I think addall.com is much, much better.
- DooDooFace, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You can't even do an advanced search to fill out author and title?
- wurzelgummage, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So come back to us when it's finished, instead of claiming it's so awesome now.
- CyGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, my search gave me only Australian sellers too.
I prefer http://isbn.nu/ the site is fast, friendly for all browsers, and was created about 8 years ago by one of the guys that originally helped to build Amazon's database.
Now I need to go Bury this thread. - 6ftmonad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Too bad it's only for Oz. http://www.bookfinder.com/ is another good tool along I've used.
- livonthedge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I HIGHLY recommend BigWords.com...that site saved me hundreds of dollars during college!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I perfer www.fetchbook.info
- drburk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://isbndb.com/ pretty much all you need and more.
- jrizio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0It's not spam - it's a project i've been working on BY MYSELF for the past 9 months and it's still in BETA if you haven't noticed. It's an engine that can not only be applied to books but to ANYTHING which is how i designed it.
It's also purely a hobby for me at this stage - I want it to be as simple as Google to use (hence the single keyword entry which will gradually shift to a command line style interface i.e searching for ISBN's would be 'ISBN:xxxxxxxx' - Sparks123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I am impressed by this site.........
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0This is a pay-per-Digg result. Folks should do it the old fashioned way:
