- AF-Geek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is great! You can make your map, then it will generate code to post to your web site!

- haenschen, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5One can't draw Lines with Opera :(
- JamesWilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Bah don't blame him, digg should trim excess newlines
- wanderingken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Hey, from the quikmaps guy.
All you diggers overloaded the server at my web-hosting company.... I'm working on the issue now and will have the site back up as soon as possible. Sorry for the troubles -- your interest has astounded both myself AND the web server :-) - mitrebox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Digg needs a graphic 404 indicator on links/diggs
- mikeB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2A really nice google maps mashup! This site is great for making directions and also allows you to add text boxes and symbols as well as tool tips. The site runs quickly and smoothly. The ability to link to a map or to put it into your blog is another great feature. All in all, I will use this site often.
- klownkiller, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2nice1 :D
- AnthonySD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I bet you in his spare time, Bush plays with this by drawing target or random countries.
- diecastbeatdown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yes, yes, so dead. boohoo. =/
what is that diggmirror url again? thought they were going to include that automatically into the article headline. - stranflow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A.K.A "The DIGG effect"
- mikae1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server. - cubemonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Great map I added them a few days ago
http://coolgooglemaps.blogspot.com - martin77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1now the site doesn't seem to be available. ( 2.45pm GMT )
- zenn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+110am EST Site still down
- nonex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When I zoom in to the area I'm looking for, I'm seeing alot of "Regional Road ##" instead of the proper street names. When I check Google maps, the street names are there. I hope it's just a buggy transition because I like the idea of this. I will check back on it in a few days.
- csimpkins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sweet! I've been waiting for this mashup. Will be nice for quick markup of new bike routes.
- gamekid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We (well, I) apologize. It's cause your site seriously kicks ass.
(I just wish you could delete an entire scribble (instead of segments) with, say, a SHIFT + right click...) - antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.duggmirror.com/software/Quickmaps_-_Draw_all_over_Google_Maps/
- brianjking, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Agh - hopefully this thing gets back up soon!
- wanderingken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1quikmaps.com up and running again... Available at http://quikmaps.geotripping.com until the DNS changes propagate, but all quikmaps.com/blahblah links have been redirected to the new server.
Thanks for your patience, and here's hoping Dreamhost can handle the digg traffic.... :) - mruocky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1404
- fydo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You do realize that Digg's commenting system has timestamps, right?
- syscop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0well, even with the mirror is practically of no use since we can't try it out anyway...
- AnthonySD, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1:(, was trying to edit, sorry.
- birder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pity it's down - this is a great tool!
- perilousone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1A bit laggy and unresponsive at times but it is a great idea and has a lot of potential. digg+
- spikyface, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The search doesn't seem to work for the UK, which makes it kind of pointless
- wanderingken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0quikmaps.com up and running again... Available at http://quikmaps.geotripping.com until the DNS changes propagate, but all quikmaps.com/blahblah links have been redirected to the new server.
Thanks for your patience, and lets hope Dreamhost can handle the digg traffic.... :) - sevans30, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Um, how do you zoom in?
- slhilbert, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1No zoom is a major draw back. How is Betty going to use this tool to give all of her high school friends a map to Johnny's Kegger?
