- c2frobbo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I've been running b2evolution on my site for a few years now...and like it well enough to use it as content management on several sites I manage. I just installed 1.8 recently and it is...FANTASTIC
- Laibcoms, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's version 1.9.1 now!! Very neat :D
- hundiejo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I have been using it for little over a year now. It still has somethings that can be improved, but it is the best out of blogger, MT, wordpress, etc that I have used in the past. It wins narrowly over wordpress with it's multiblog and stats features.
1.8 has a lot of improvements over 9.2 and 1.6, it is well worth checking out. The new anti-spam features work really, really well. There is a google spell plug-in for post writing and comments and preforms very well. The stat tracking in the back office tracks refers direct hits, and incoming searches.
I can attest that the development community is very patient, resourceful, and dedicated to helping the users solve their problems. They have always come through with my problems. - buzzworkers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I use on several website and it's... well : I just love it ! good helpers, good coders, the project is alive, what you wan't more ?
- WebWizard, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've been running B2evo for a few years and have set it up for several clients. This release addressed a number of important issues like rolling several anti-spam features into the programs core feature set, wheras you used to have to do a number of hacks to get that functionality. That was fine for (us) geeks, but now the average user can easily benefit.
Extensibility has also been greatly improved with the new plug-in capabilities, and I believe that the upgrade path is also being simplified to the point where we won't have to do a near clean install each time we upgrade, which has been the case in the past.
These improvements, added to the reliability, near total ability to customize, and great support from the developer and user communities make B2Evo a great program that deserves a lot more attention than it's received up to this point. - Nahor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0The backend UI is horrible - try bubbler.net web client. It's phat Ajax and uses a wysiwyg editor for blog entries. If this is "amazing" bubbler will make you wet yourself. http://bubbler.net/
