- chime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Now add some ajaxy-interface like kiko (http://www.kiko.com) and then you're talking.
- johnwp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I know, I really want Google Calendar. There really isn't any good free calendar apps for the PC. Sunbird sucks. Outlook's calendar rocks, but it's not free and it's closed source.
- sishgupta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For an implementation of this check out:
www.icalexchange.com
You can publish your ical file there for free so you can access it from the web or from any ical compatible callendar (sunbird).
Gibson_Sg, try reinstalling ical. I dont have osx, but i hear that is what is required to fix it. - X111, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Personally I think it IS interesting (old, but still interesting) because it's something I can download and install on my own webserver. I'm not interested in yet another site where I have to register to use a webservice.
- edmicman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dugg because I just installed WebCalendar. I'm looking for an online calendar that I can install on my own host. This looks much sharper than WebCalendar, but I still need a standalone client to update/edit the calendars. Bah! Is there an installable hosted calendar/todo system out there that doesn't require installing an entire server suite or something? PHP/MySQL/Free, of course.
- fyre2012, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that kiko thing is pretty cool.
Hard to take me away from something written in C/++ tho - dknighton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Airset may be the total shizzle...but I'm not using ANYTHING that utilizes the Comic Sans font ANYWHERE on their site.
- pkirk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Please remember that this script is only to see iCal calendars and NOT to modify.
- nxtort, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"www.icalexchange.com" yep but without the google ads
- beefster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.airset.com - best around
- duke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yet another calendaring app.
*yawn* - JzzL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Outlook 12 will do that... they have internet calendars enabled. I am just in need of information on how to write to them... I can read them just fine... just cant alter them.
- AtomicTheory, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0CRAP, are there SERIOUSLY no open source php/mysql based calendars that you can host yourself? I KNOW it can be done, because oscommerce is much more complicated and it is all php/mysql.
Does ANYONE know of such an app? - Icefreez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's to bad this is not a stand alone calander I really like its design.
- LastHope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Don't wait for Outlook 12 and iCalendar support...you can use this plug-in for Outlook 2003!

Hope you'll glad it :) - punkrock4life, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ive been using this app for over a year and love it. here's my only question: didn't apple send the author a DMCA notice? what happened and how did the project get back up?
- battybattybatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0kiko dead.
- HuRyde, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.planzo.com/ beats them all. AJAX, RSS, Web 2.0, XML, SMS / to boot!
- TugsMcgroin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I second a request for any good looking online (hostable) calendar software.
- marcb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've created a tutorial for Dreamhost folks to install this and set up a WebDAV directory for their calendars. Check it out: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/index.php/PHPiCalendar
- SniperX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Please remember that this script is only to see iCal calendars and NOT to modify."
WTF?? Good point, I didn't even notice that, what a waste of space on the internet if you can't modify anything on your calendar.
I do, however, love the minimalistic site. - antiTRACE, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where is the google-calendar?
- nugget, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have never used a calander on my pc. I have my phone, and paper that I use, If I need details, I never have my computer on hand unless I'm in my room so I found it kinda pointless. Plus I have one of those daybook things that my collee gives all first year students, so that works too.
- JetwingX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is a perfect solution for me because the entire cast for my play can always have a calendar to look at on-line
- NineLives, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"php/mysql based calendars that you can host yourself"
I've been looking for months trying to find something. All I've seen is http://php-calendar.sourceforge.net/ but it looks horrible. Nothing else even works correct. - andrethegiant, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1^ Um, no... I have 10.4.3 and iCal works fine....
- npiv, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0don't understand why this was dugg to the top ....
maybe with some drag and drop AJAX
nod digg - geminitojanus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Wait a minute, someone dugg this site? It's OLD!!!! Come on folks..
- Gibson_sg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0If you update OSX to 10.4.3 (a very needed updated for stability) then iCal doesn't work anymore. I had all my appointments and birthdays set for the whole year. Thanks Apple.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0the site is so bland i need screenshots
