- stupidStan, on 01/22/2008, -3/+15so... considering alexp03 has a huge amount of posts on this page, basically licking the app's *****, why doesn't he just admit that he has some vested interest in it? I am guessing it's his app?

based on the number of comments you've left here and the "features" you describe each time, i assume this is your crappy excuse for an iframe? - kerrybreyette, on 01/22/2008, -17/+24Sounds similar to Safari's Web Clip feature.
- Murrabbit, on 01/22/2008, -7/+12Sounds like Active Desktop. . . from windows 98
- ST0N3, on 01/22/2008, -2/+7in other news, users of OS X Leopard can just press their F12 keys instead of this ridiculous workaround
- kerrybreyette, on 01/22/2008, -0/+5To be fair, I said similar.
- nailer, on 01/22/2008, -3/+8If you're wondering why a lot of comments are modded down, check out http://www.digg.com/users/alexp03
Alex P keeps posting praise in this article without actually saying he's the site author. In fact, he didn't even say that in the title. - iamnyunyu, on 01/22/2008, -15/+19looks like it just fetch a site and put them in iframe.
Nice concept though. - inactive, on 01/22/2008, -1/+5shut up
- inactive, on 01/22/2008, -0/+4You'd know - you wrote the *****.
- manicleek, on 01/22/2008, -3/+7sorry but I'm gonna be the first to say outright that this is *****
- inactive, on 01/22/2008, -0/+3stop with the spam *****.
- inactive, on 01/22/2008, -8/+11It's not a bad idea (even if there are others that are similar) however, it's output is hideous to say the least. They could do better.
- adooga, on 01/22/2008, -7/+10That is really sweet.
I like this one too: http://wigitize.com/ for making widgets from feeds. - pizzas, on 01/22/2008, -4/+6wow. now if only i knew how to create such a web site in 24 hours . .
- inactive, on 01/22/2008, -1/+3It doesn't work very well. And renders my captured content strange.
- Breepee, on 01/22/2008, -0/+2Isn't that what webwag.com has had for at least a year now? Pretty cool, but the load times are decreasing for every 'frame' you add ofcourse. Takes a littlebit of the 'light' from RSS.
- Himself, on 01/22/2008, -0/+2remove "also" and append "it was here before this"
- Shaderone, on 01/22/2008, -5/+6Too many zeroes!
- sgoogle, on 01/22/2008, -0/+1It was on Digg about two month ago (for those who missed it):
http://dominiek.com/articles/2008/1/6/building-a-c ... - puredeviation, on 01/22/2008, -8/+9Safari does it already..
- SniperZero, on 01/22/2008, -11/+12Graveyard alert!!
- lumbergh, on 01/22/2008, -1/+2It's called... an iFrame.
- jeriqo, on 01/22/2008, -3/+4A dashboard widget can be run into a browser too
- Dark12, on 01/22/2008, -13/+14Nice concept
- SSUK, on 01/22/2008, -0/+1It's actually rather funny that this site already hit Digg front page through the author/webmaster of the same site giving a step-through guide to how he made this website within a certain amount of hours.
- sembetu, on 01/22/2008, -0/+1Um, NetVibes FTW?
- Allanon, on 01/22/2008, -3/+4Dapper can also do this.
http://www.dapper.net/ - sq2shooter, on 01/22/2008, -0/+1True. You can do this using Safari since Leopard was launched last year. I haven't found much use for it though.
- FuzzyCat, on 01/23/2008, -0/+1
Where "Widgetize" == Hotlink
This is just as bad as some asshat hotlinking to images on your website and stealing your bandwidth. Of course the usual mechanism for deterring hotlinkers is goatse. - jblade, on 01/22/2008, -0/+1Service is okay. I've used Clearspring http://www.clearspring.com/ for a while now and its a lot better.
- thailand1972, on 01/22/2008, -2/+3it's cold in here! Sub zero FTMFW
- MattBD, on 01/22/2008, -0/+1Looks like it does for web pages what Mozilla's Prism technology does for the desktop. Prism is great.
- helikopter, on 01/22/2008, -4/+4and i yours.
- SSUK, on 01/22/2008, -1/+1http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IFrame
No it's not. - SSUK, on 01/22/2008, -1/+1You've been able to make widgets for your dashboard in Mac OSX/Safari, but this makes a HTML widget to use across everything that uses HTML tags or embed it in your webpage. Big difference.
- djsim, on 01/22/2008, -2/+2Sounds like Mac OS X's been able to do this since October.
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/300.html#dash ... - morcheeba, on 01/22/2008, -5/+5http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lw2SYHGn5Sk
- ojsimon, on 10/18/2008, -0/+0I think this site is much better and its faster http://www.websnips.com
- shegs, on 01/22/2008, -5/+4PC as well as safari? you do know that safari is software that is available for PCs. also safari shouldn't be compaired to a PC, since one is software and the other is hardware...
- inactive, on 01/22/2008, -3/+2and inserted into a blog? no
- wellyuk, on 01/22/2008, -4/+3Me too!!!!1!!!1!!!!!1111!
- filemeaway, on 01/22/2008, -6/+5Yay, I helped!
Digg me down (only once) - inactive, on 01/22/2008, -8/+6No - Webclip allows you create a DASHBOARD widget, this allows you to embed it in a blog etc.
- Culero, on 01/22/2008, -6/+4in one fell swoop i have dashed your dastardly plans.

- trotskyist, on 01/22/2008, -13/+11lol, k
- dadzer, on 01/22/2008, -15/+13Not bad; I can use something like that on my blog
- doublsh0t, on 01/22/2008, -15/+12it'd be nice to be able to turn it into a gadget for vista
- EndersGame, on 01/22/2008, -18/+15I feel like I am in the twilight zone. Every comment including the two reply comments are all at 0! Somebody please digg me down.
