- blogspinner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I agree with nichenet. It's a plugin. Maybe it's irony that the person who wrote it has a digg button on the site. It's got nothing to do with netscape and everything to do with a useful tool. I'm not getting paid by Netscape nor do I intend to. Why do so many digg users flame without actually reading dugg articles.
I love Digg, but it's unbelievable how many angry comments I come across on Digg that strongly suggest the commenter never bothered looking at the source article, just the dugg comment. I have no idea why this is, and it's actually turned me off from using Digg for several months. Until now. - nichenet, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4thedove
is that really necessary? this guy has come up with a great plugin and it deserved to be Dugg. Im neither paid by Netscape nor are even affiliated with them and yet I Dugg this. One cant help that suggest you try growing up. - Fastamber, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah there are some pretty stupid stupid people everywhere. Just give them a glass of hater aid and call it good. Some people have the mind to use sites like Digg and Netscape for social media marketing. I found the article on Google not Digg. I was looking for a "how to use Digg" tutorial.
Chat me up if you can help me with the Netscape widget. I'm not so skilled with PHP and I can't figure out which file to edit to make the widget work. - thedove, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3wow, i can't wait for all the new netscape shills to submit more netscape-related stories! seriously...nearly every paid netscape user that was converted from digg, dugg this...
idk if calacanis suggests you guys should submit this stuff or you're doing it to suck up to the boss...but here's a reality check for all of you converts...
if you weren't paid by netscape and were a sole digg user, NONE of you would digg/submit this. each and every one of you will deny it, because you have to, otherwise it's bad business. this is digging with an agenda, which is every bit as bad as what we see in the political section. it's ok to have an interest in this subject, but you guys have a "vested" interest.
but you guys don't care b/c you're getting paid (and that's ok, paying people is cool). just remember where you guys got your notoriety from. and show a little respect. marked as spam - Immanuel, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2whoa, that is kind of shady...what's the deal, netscape?
i'd love to hear one of you guys respond...
and yes, it is agenda setting, just like the politics section...but this is worse. at least those people have agendas based on what they think. you guys have an agenda b/c digg is a direct competitor to netscape and the better netscape does, the longer you keep your salary.
i'll go ahead and mark that as spam to :)
