Actually, sounds a lot like bottled water. - AttroPheed, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12The link to the app if you're not interested in skimming inane blog posts.

LimeWire Pro, offical version - Hacktivist, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6needs more ads on the download link
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Because Schrade, it's impractical to download just one song using bittorrent. And it's much faster.
- dandyhighwayman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Funny how many people think that if you pay for Limewire, you are not doing anything illegal.
- punica888, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What are you talking about?
- theone3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Schrade. Bittorrent only works if a file is extremely popular. It burns fast and bright. Limewire is better for music because it's more of an archive for music than a top 40 list ;).

That one is better - Hacktivist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3>>Water is never free though. Even from the tap it costs money...
My water is free
Well > * - iMiXiMi, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2Dude did u even read the story?
- cakesale, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you can get another gnutella client instead... Personally i like Phex, http://phex.kouk.de/mambo/
@RADicalSatDude very nice site... - jtray, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3"people still use limewire?" you beat me by one post. Also News flash to the 10% of Apple people, just becasue not all software doesn't run on your precious machine does not mean the rest of the world has the ability to use it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You're also paying for support. Although, I choose to get free support from forums :)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No spy ware shortyz.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2WTF. It's not warez. Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Limewire AND Limewire Pro are OPEN SOURCE (GPL). Did you even read the title of this page? "LimeWire Pro, for free, LEGALLY!" I suggest you spend more time reading before you lower your hands onto the keyboard to type.
- kylewp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think I'm gonna break out the old bugle and play taps when limwire gets shut down. Better download all I can while it lasts.
- Taransky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Have you guys tried LimeWire Acceleration Patch? It especially works well LimeWire Pro. Just go to google and type in "LimeWire Acceleration Patch". I tell you it really makes the download fast. With it, LimeWire Pro has reached speeds of 120 K/B. There is also a Professional Edition but I don't know how and where to hack it. Plus it's illegal. Please try it today. I know you'll see the difference
- jtjdt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The source code is free. The compiled binary is not. Unless you got the source code and compiled it, you stole it, breaking the law. Plus when you pay that small 18.88 dollars, you support limwire and it's developers so they can keep making it better.

Water is never free though. Even from the tap it costs money... - superbnerd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2http://www.info.com.ph/~cyberray/LimeWireWin.zip
direct download. - helfire, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4"it’s written in the generally buggy Java platform."
haha, ya tell nasa that when they use it in mission critial probes to mars... - computerjoe, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I've updated this article to promote FrostWire.
- compwizz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@ DJMac317 and dariram, Look at the very bottom of the page, there is a link that takes you to another download site. The file contains versions for Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, OS/2 Etc.
- flickerman, on 02/14/2009, -0/+1Check out this link http://digg.com/software/Limewire_5_PRO_Download_l ...

which you've mastered wonderfully. - ryan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"No mac version for download. Crap."
I suggest using AquisitonX if you want to use Limewire for the Mac. It connects to the Limewire networks except everything the application is designed to run beautifully on the Mac, taking advantage of it's great features.

Put simply, it's clean. :) - andrewd2, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I got the Mac version from the link at the bottom of the rapidshare site works great. It was part of the 4 in 1 .zip. Thanks. ++digg
- Scavenger333, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Re: Mac versions - there's a link at the bottom of the page for a 4-in-1 downloadable zip file that says the following: If You Want To Download The Complete ZIP Package For Windows, MAC OS X, Linux, Solaris, OS/2 Etc Then Click HERE (RapidShare) 21.2MB
"Here" is here: http://rapidshare.de/files/12391144/LimeWirePRO4in1.zip.html - StickWST, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Awesome, are the speeds as good as they say. By the way, have you noticed that limewire pro is avaible on the gnutella network aso? lol.
- djepik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ahhhhh wonderful... If the only advantage of pro over lite is that I don't have to click "no" to the "upgrade to pro?" question everytime... it was definetly worth it.
- kylewp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh yeah baby, TURBO-CHARGED downloads for free! hehehe
- azazelka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here one more site where you can download any version of Limewire : http://www.softdownloadz.com/free/download/limewire/

All about Limewire - http://www.limewireworld.info/ - gaoshan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Download "Limewire Pro" for free from... let's see, that URL ain't one controlled by Limewire. So this digg suggests downloading and using a program from some site that has nothing to do with Limewire... riiiight.
I assume you who are downloading it are the same people that open random email attachments "'cause it had my name on it"? Good luck to you. - macewan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2macewan@cole:~$ mkdir beta

These guys removed all references to "Limewire" and renamed it Frostwire. Now it can be safely added it Linux repositories and such too. Enjoy:

the free world still Survives hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahah FREE WINS. PAY LOSES.
well does God make you pay for stuff, no just humans and governments. God gives us all the land for free and yet we charge for it and enforce ownership.
God gave us water and us humans charge for drinking water. - tomwade333, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0 I been using the free file for a long time. I find thr "Pro" version GREAT!
