It's basically a stealthy wireless network packet sniffer. - bonlebon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2lame
This software requires a Kismet Drone as a source. It will not work with any PCMCIA, USB, or any other wireless network cards.

Bad ***** luck. Why the hell should people have to give you everything on a silver platter?
If you dont know, then you dont need to know. Move along now. - theuber1337, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Drive around a little smoke some weed and download music or whatever with friends"
Drugs are bad and illegal my friend..
Sweet! Dugg. Downloaded and getting a test run on this weekends wardriving. - jdrivein, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think some Linux apps should remain on GNU/Linux & BSDs, as they were originally intended to be. That helps the user to gain interest about the OS. If all Linux apps were available for Win$ almost no one would feel the need to try Linux.
And a OS that has lots of users is an OS actively developed (and new apps are written)
So this is bad news to me. - Sharky, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Very awesome. Huge thanks to all the devs!
- tomaburque, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Hacker tools on Windows = lameness like cracking your neighbor's wireless to file trade on his connection so he gets sued by the MPAA instead of you. That would be wrong.
- syuusuke, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0cools, imma go try this on my wrt54g
- rnscwas123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This is very nice. Linux gave me all sorts of problems with my wireless card.
- LDawg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2My cat's name is Kismet.

Why did you post a link that simply searches Google for the word Kismet? You do not need to be a karma whore at digg. - jonom, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0WTF is kismet?
Would it be too much to ask submitters to put a little more information in their submissions?
The page linked to doesn't even say what it is. All I could gleen was that it seems to be something to do with wifi.
And no, I don't want to ***** google it. I shouldn't have to. - Anekdoten, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0What the hell is it ? No link explain it, poorly documented I guess.
