- izzie2, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13I have had joost for a while now and I have yet to get an invite to give away.They say that you are more likely to get one to distribute if you submit bugs and blog about it.There are people in the beta forums begging for invites for thier friends.All I can tell you is when you sign up for the beta try saying you're an old lady or something different because I think they want diversity to study the demographics side of it.

You do NOT get an invite when you get an account.
This is NOT like GMail or Livejournal started out.
This IS very much still beta, they pick and choose who gets in. the invite tokens are a way of saying thanks to those contributing to the project (helping squash bugs or helping others troubleshoot via the forums.)
If you're looking to Check it out or Try it out, then you should wait, because its not done and theres still alot of software testing and feed back going on. It's really not ready for the public. Honestly you wont like it, and it's not the final product so just wait.
If you want to get in and try to help them out then your best bet would be to sign up on their main site.
Invite tokens are hard to come by, I doubt this many people have them.
Sadly someone will come along and harvest these Email addresses!
