- orijimi, on 03/30/2008, -0/+3Greatest open source program there is. GIMP is pathetic in comparison, considering how they compare to their competion. Yet, GIMP gets stuff on the front page on occasion.
- ryanlerch, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1GIMP has a different application, but i agree, i find inkscape a lot more usable and was way easier to pick up than the GIMP
- ryanlerch, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1inkscape 0.46 is now available on all platforms, windows OSX and linux!
woot - AndyFitz, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1This is the best release ever!
You'll all have insane amounts of fun playing with your own path effects and filters. Illustrator users are switching without any need for convincing.- ryanlerch, on 04/02/2008, -0/+1path effects, the paint bucket tool and on-canvas gradient editing are my picks of the features in 0.46
