Inkscape 0.46 released

inkscape.org — Finally they made it: Inkscape 0.46 has been released with lots of new features and tons of improvements such as PDF import, dockable dialogs, new paint bucket, new 3D box, new tweak tool and above all, it's a lot faster.

    You'll all have insane amounts of fun playing with your own path effects and filters. Illustrator users are switching without any need for convincing.
