How to backup Windows XP
backup-buzz.blogspot.com — Most people think about backing up data about 10 minutes after it's too late to do any good. The author also gives some bad advice. He says "your computer's hard disk" is "the ideal backup location" and a "safe" place to back up. Bzzzt, wrong. Always back up to an external device (CD/DVD, Zip, other removable media, external HD, network storage, etc.) - cquinnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Also, no mention of the File and Settings Transfer Wizard, which should be considered among the
best tools for the essential system backup, if you are planning on having to rebuild the system at some
point.
