arstechnica.com — A bold new project from Mozilla will eventually endow Firefox with sync and collaboration abilities. Though the project is only in its infancy, it shows a lot of promise for collaborative, ubiquitous browsing.

Prism is also worth checking out - for the uninitiated, it effectively allows you to turn ANY website into a desktop app. It's really useful for things like webmail or blogging. If they can combine it with Google Gears, they'll really have something.

Because last time I tried it, this wouldn't work - it would log you off of the service on all but one PC, so I switched and have been using Foxmarks without trouble at all, which also lets me access my bookmarks via the web while I'm at work or somewhere I don't have the extension installed.

Guess they didn't think that they should probably have an A or MX record set up for their mail servers. You'll have to use gmail or something.
