- bitsculptor, on 01/10/2009, -14/+73no adblock == no chrome.
- sprince09, on 01/09/2009, -4/+51Linux support yet? Wine is kinda clunky
- Scape3d, on 01/10/2009, -8/+52Where's my Mac version?
- rianjs, on 01/10/2009, -1/+36Where is my print preview?
- e2superman, on 01/10/2009, -5/+38Seriously 2.0? Gmail is still beta and they go from 0.00 to 2.0 on Chrome in a few months. Google's version schemes make no sense.
- dpollitt, on 01/09/2009, -2/+30Not sure if I'd call this a leap, or even worthy of a 2.0 status. Its better though.
- meekrob, on 01/09/2009, -6/+32I just hope they put some work into the password manager! That's my number one annoyance right now.

You don't freaking question your Google overlords, ok?! - PRlME, on 01/10/2009, -10/+29Google is a advertisement company. Advertisements made Google money to pay programmers who made chrome and a lot of other free awesome free programs. Google also contributes to many other open projects(Google summer of code and so forth). So I don't mind seeing a stupid duck passing by on the side of a story who if I shoot i will get my free credit report. I also seed my torrents, Its people like you that "probably" don't understand the give to get thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I will pay $8 at the movies, and $8 for popcorn when I can just DL them(I pay to see 007 and Batman but there was no way I was paying to see Wanted who the ***** can swing a bullet out of a gun). But jeez its just an AD, I think you can sacrifice that much. END-rant

Then ads will be blocked no matter what browser you use. - anonymous1986, on 01/09/2009, -1/+17It scores 100/100 on the Acid3 test although the rendering the not a 100% smooth, meanwhile sunspider it scores 1900 on sunspider. Nice improvements.
- dandonia, on 01/10/2009, -6/+20Until something goes wrong in one tab and the whole of FF freezes.
- bsmang, on 01/10/2009, -0/+13I'm a big google fan, but this windows-only approach they're using so far really sucks.
- LiquidSpark, on 01/10/2009, -0/+13Greasemonkey support is a step in the right direction. Once they get extensions on it I'll start using it as my default browser until someone else come up with an even better browser.
- HUKI365, on 01/10/2009, -0/+11lol, how about some intergration with Google's Bookmarking services so we ca sync bookmarks?
- greedyemu, on 01/10/2009, -4/+15Am I the only one who has learned from Chrome that you really don't need to bookmark much, if anything at all? The omnibar serves it's purpose much better than a list of ***** links that I probably shouldn't have saved in the first place.
- sickthoughts, on 01/10/2009, -0/+10Yeh.. it's kinda weird that they aren't moving forward with this yet.
- anonymous1986, on 01/09/2009, -2/+11Does any get that it messes up when rendering pages? (for example sometimes you have to refresh the current page for it to render properly or facebook is messed up). Also the new tab button seems to be placed under the minimize button when many tabs are opened
- TheBlueVulcan, on 01/10/2009, -1/+9Hmm, it saves my passwords--what more should it do?
- ravan46, on 01/09/2009, -18/+26mouse gestures please...
- dawesdust12, on 01/10/2009, -1/+9Webkit scores 100% with perfect smoothness.
- tas08, on 01/10/2009, -1/+9Wait, what problems do you have with it?
- greensky, on 01/10/2009, -2/+9I don't care about adblock, but I hate animations moving all over the page. I would really like the option to disable gif animations and I really want something like flashblock.
- TheBlueVulcan, on 01/10/2009, -0/+7What? Chrome's out of beta and now closing in on 2.0. Did you not read the article?
- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -3/+9I hate that there's no adblock, and I don't like the way it manages bookmarks. Those are my two complaints about Chrome.
- aDJsavedmylife, on 01/10/2009, -3/+9and web developers don't give a ***** about it so loads of sites come out looking crappy in it.
- dtfinch, on 01/10/2009, -1/+7There's a thick window border when maximized on Vista (aero disabled) that I don't see on XP or with earlier versions of Chrome. It makes scrolling difficult, in addition to being an eyesore.
I was hoping it was temporary when I first saw the problem with Chromium a couple months ago (and switched back to Chrome). I guess not.
Found the bug to vote on: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id ... (click the star) - dtfinch, on 01/09/2009, -0/+6I had switched to the dev channel a while back, but had to switch again to get this upgrade. I guess they created a 2nd dev channel, and renamed the old dev channel to the beta channel.

http://blog.chromium.org/2009/01/google-chrome-rel ... - Azriel7, on 01/10/2009, -3/+9I am pretty sure extension support(adblock) is the #1 requested feature. I and many people will be more than happy to jump ship to Chrome if they implement that, but not before.
- DaviDTC, on 01/10/2009, -2/+8Im pretty sure I read somewhere that google will support adblock for chrome. No clue where I read it though.
- iD2O, on 01/10/2009, -1/+7I do not consider "impressive non-standard CSS features" to be a good thing, because they are non-standard.
(I don't understand where chromium differs from webkit either) - tonmil, on 01/10/2009, -0/+6Looking forward to the "full page zoom" feature
- FruitBoy, on 01/10/2009, -1/+6RSS?! MAC VERSION?!
- djblac, on 01/10/2009, -1/+6Don't feed the trolls.... but yes I'm wondering too.
- auburntygur, on 01/10/2009, -5/+10Surely they'd release a Mac version first... (please?)
- ButchersBoy, on 01/10/2009, -1/+6Can this release manage something simple like bookmark sorting? (Am a Chrome fan though.)
- valums, on 01/10/2009, -2/+7Chrome is already better than IE.
- skjalff, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4Thats because they are, because the thing is only two quarters old
- MtheoryX, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4@srg13:
WebKit is ACTUALLY available on more than just Windows...
And it uses a different JS engine. - slydingo, on 01/10/2009, -2/+6Mac version yet? >:|
- MattBD, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3Can't wait for Google Bookmarks support, I'll need that once they have Mac and Linux versions so I can keep everything in sync.
- gdonald, on 01/10/2009, -2/+5Mac version? Linux version? What part of "we're still waiting" do you not get Google?
- themotivator1, on 01/10/2009, -1/+4http://www.roflposters.com/google-chrome-so-fast-t ...
- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -2/+5wtf guys, why are you burying ravan's comment? mouse gestures are awesome
- RodBorn, on 01/10/2009, -2/+5...and to simply sum up the above:
No Ad Block
No Mac version
No way - skjalff, on 01/10/2009, -2/+5@bitsculptor: "openly admit to piracy"? lol wtf? next up : "you've had sex with her and you're not even married?? And you're openly admitting to it??" OMG!"
- p3ngwin, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3patience....after helping make Android,Chrome,gadgets,Gmail,etc...you KNOW they're getting ready to integrate everything into a single environment.
soon, very soon........all your google-lovin' under one google framework. - ZugZugDaBoo, on 01/11/2009, -0/+3Check out http://www.srware.net/en/software_srware_iron.php its chrome but with privacy and adblock..
- n4tune8, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3Pardon my ignorance but what is Google bookmark integration? Does google have a bookmark service?
