*Wink Wink* *Nudge Nudge* - doubleforte, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11"apple.com" brings up "ms-eradication.org" which is a pointer to the Apple website. haha.
- sigintop, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I remember reading a security article on how you could "highjack" someone's domain and redirect it to your server. In this case, the person probably did the opposite. They redirected their domain to Google. Could be some guys messing around to learn about networks.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Just go to MSN and search for ip:yourip
ie: http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=ip%3A72.14.253.99&mkt=en-US&form=QBRE&go.x=0&go.y=0&go=Search - dicerandom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Just because they have tons of domains on the same IP doesn't mean they're overselling. A single external IP can represent hundreds or thousands of internal load balanced servers.
- googolplexabyte, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-ip/ but requires free membership login
I use them the most. - googolplexabyte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5BTW, this dugg SEO website only lists a fraction of the real amount of linked domain names to the IP. I got 76 results for my domain name off the SEO site, but 700+ off the link I posted above. Yes, I know my webhosts are huge oversellers but it's cheap and good bandwidth.
All I can is that I trust domaintools.com more than some SEO site. They also show much more info. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5nothing interesting!?!? wtf is this: thesource.ofallevil.com

48) thesource.ofallevil.com - FreakTrap, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yea, that was my guess, the domain owners are just using google.com to park there domain...

- Sblader5, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7a 403 to me is down
- almir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No, I just mailed the guy and he was very thankful for submitting this, its probably down cause his server couldnt handle it, I mailed him again, hope he will resolve this fast.
- Skitzzo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like how people are critisizing the fact that someone made a tool. If you like it, use it. If not, dont. I dont see the issue here... (dugg)
- Redscowl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm bookmarking it for when things go quiet again LOL {hint}
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3For those on shared hosting, IP searches like these are a nice way to find out who your neighbors are or to see how badly your hosting company oversells each server. :-) Sometimes, though, the host's DNS redirects a single IP to numerous servers, so it doesn't always provide a clear picture.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is a great link. Thanks!
- bajones, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yes. It is my site. It's on 1and1's shared hosting, and I'm on hold w/ them now.
Good luck w/ that... I know. - culbeda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Anyone else having problems with the spell check. Mine wigged out and caused me to accidentally post twice. It's really getting annoying.
- lcarsdeveloper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1All this guy has done is write a front-end to the MSN Live IP search tool, as mentioned by mivale and CristianMezei.
The only difference is that if you type in a domain instead of an IP, it converts it back to the IP before searching. Also it simplifies the results and gives you the domain only.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good idea, I'm just pointing it out to some of the people who are asking how this works. If you want to build one yourself it might be easy enough.
Not sure if you'll also need this:
http://search.msn.com/developer/default.aspx?FORM=PDDD2 - VanillaBaron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Interesting. As in, doesn't-seem-to-work interesting. I have a dotcom and several DynDNS domains, but the tool finds zero websites on my IP. Even when I enter one of the domains, it says, "yes, that domain has address w.x.y.z" but "Found 0 websites with the IP w.x.y.z".
- itsmrchris, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1hahaha I am never linking to google.com EVER AGAIN.
I am from this day sending all google related traffic to upgrademywife.com
I love it! - kalmi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oppss sorry, it gave me the PHP code... but after a refresh, it didn't, sorry...
- aboutblank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ugh! I have flipping 73 other sites being hosted on my shared hosting server :(
- kalmi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Try this: (I converted the form into "GET") :)

- sint4x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just incase some don't realize, anyone can point there domain to a particular IP. The "odd" and unexpected domains do not mean anything.
- Sun.Surfin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Forbidden :( Site down or the owner doesn't want digg eating up their bandwidth

- iXam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If you get 5000+ servers listed on your server you either used the wrong function (that listes the domains related to the DNS the typed domain uses or i compleatly screwed the syetem up ;)

- CristianMezei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I find this tool pretty much redundant. Why ? Because MSN has been providing an IP: operator for so long now.
Just search the IP that seomoz.org returns (204.15.225.178) for example:
http://search.live.com/results.aspx?q=ip%3A204.15.225.178
It will tell you what other websites that have the same IP, MSN.com indexed.
Rjonesx you tell them. - FPSDavid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1luckily there is only 5 other sites on my IP.

WIth this tool, at least I can see who is sharing my server, although I can't tell specifically who is burning CPU cycles.
- Jugalator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"wtf is this: thesource.ofallevil.com"

I've found that some spammers will host upwards of 500 versions of the same site (on different domains) on only a couple of IP addresses.
